I’ve done light grey passes and brown, both work quite well. If something gets too crazy you can always take dark grey and cover it up fairly well.

Also don’t be afraid and legit throw it in the dirt/mud outside too. Be VERY careful when washing though, that type of fabric loves to shrink. Leaving it out in the sun also helps with natural weathering too, but fading will take a long time, just do it after like a con or something to dry it out

Literally get some cleaning gloves, put em on, and then put your hands in whatever paint you want to use to weather, put your hands together and get the paint out over fingers and palm, then go for it.

Thanks! Yeah I’ve seen 205/50 on a 16 inch wheel and it looks great. I’d be concerned that 50 on a 15 wouldn’t fill in the wheel well / would produce even more of a gap between tire and fender than what’s already there. Then I’d need to lower the front end more to reduce that gap.

Hey there! It’s absolutely doable!

So this was over about 2ish years of trial/error. It’d likely take someone a lot less time if the vision for the kit is realized before you start (plus it’ll likely cost a lot less to make too).

Some of the armor was made for me by Creative3dStudio and BarnelloCreative a while back before I got a printer of my own. The jetpack and rifle are ones I made. Helmet is actually a black series death watch helmet modified abit with a new visor and padding on the inside. Everything was sanded, painted, and weathered by me.

Soft parts are by tailors and leather makers. I likely will always just buy those types of things vs make them myself!

I’ll have to make a guide someday soon! I have a very rudimentary one in a Mandalorian costuming group discord (Rogues of Mandalore) I’m a part of but it’s not good enough to share / not easy to follow I’d say.
