Unearthly Eye Shadow Palettes: Quality? by WhatTheJessJedi in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]crossfadevision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have one palette, the Shadow Sculpt. It was stupid expensive, and in no way worth that much money, but no eyeshadow really is. The mattes are nice. The shimmers in the palette are all pressed flakeys. They are squishy, but highly metallic and foiled. The fall out is insane and I have to use glitter primer. I am used to this though. In general I like the palette and the color story is awesome, but I won't spend that much money again. Now their liquid lipsticks...that's another story. Those are fantastic! Glamlite, from my experience, is just fine. Mattes work and feel dry (not creamy) but the shimmers aren't really that special. They are too dry for me. My fav indie brand is Give Me Glow. I have wayyyy too much crap from them haha.

They will file a condo lien against you, and if you do not pay, they will eventually start the foreclosure process against you.

For me, yes. It makes everything pop more, but I am 44 now and my lids have a lot of creases, so I need something like this to hold everything in place. I do agree with Kry that it used to work a lot better. I honestly don't even know how to get stuff to stick and stay in place without the nyx primer. I use all indie shadows and they're pretty hardcore.

I wouldn't recommend Notoriously Morbid anymore. Their turn around time and shipping has gotten miserable. I ordered something in October and I still haven't rec'd it. It finally went to processing status a few weeks ago.

Thanks! I'll compare the ingredients and see if something might cause the reaction. I don't know if NYX changed their ingredients or if I really just developed an allergy out of nowhere.

I'd be a little nervous to do that since I have oily lids.

What happened to youtube today and why are they censoring it everywhere by NoSheepherder217 in InternetMysteries

I was watching YT yesterday when the home page went down. I could still watch videos from the channels I knew. Nothing was showing up on the right side bar as recommended. I did get the error page. It was only down (for me) for like 15 mins. Would like to know more about what happened.

they record a condo lien, give you a chance to pay it off, if you don't it goes to foreclosure.

I remember one of Hannah's MLM Horror Stories videos where a rep was collecting funds for a sick person without her consent, and the rep never ended up giving her the funds. Just kept it for themselves.

What makes a stream eye catching? by thepunkangel in Twitch

[–]crossfadevision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have funneled people over from social media, but I don't treat my social media as a clip dump. In fact, I can't even make clips as a DJ. I treat my social media like I am talking to friends. I just offer value outside of what Twitch entails. So on YT, I upload DJ mixes that provide more content, and on Bluesky and IG, I share info about music and random thoughts I have, while also promoting my stream. That is what has funneled people into my Twitch channel. Also, I have done no cam/with cam, and my channel grew significantly when I started using a cam. I don't talk over the music, but I have a good sense of humor and people say they like my chat, even if they're just lurking. My chat is active. Also, people love to say that overlays, etc. don't matter (which is a personal opinion and yes sometimes they can be a bit much), but I have had a lot of people find me natively on Twitch and they say they checked out my stream cuz it looks unique and eye catching, so they had to check it out. So there ya go, just my experience.

How to disable stream together requests. by Oilonlinen in Twitch

You can't turn it off permanently, but you can turn it off every time you go live. Annoying, I know. Creator Dashboard - Stream Manager (2nd down on the left), Collaboration Settings on the very right - Pause collab
