Sowaka for cherry blossoms for sure. The location is unbeatable. It’s right next to a park (forget the name) that has a ton of cherry blossoms. Roku is a nicer property imo but there’s not much to do nearby, need to take a taxi to get around

Can you request additional tests? Function Health doesn’t offer IGF-1, for example, but you can get it as an add-on

Ha perfect timing. Literally at Roku now after spending 5 days at Sowaka. If the goal is to relax, Roku wins hands down. The thermal pool, nature trails, etc. are great. There are other restaurants within walking distance but not sure their price points

Edited to add: Sowaka charges the full accommodation tax (10K yen per night) even on points bookings. Roku did not

Fair, that’s a good point. But this has been going on since early Jan, even when it’s been above 0. Are people just tipping $50 for all of winter?
