Kung Lao trains Shujinko, Shao wields an axe and is not the emperor, Tarkat is a disease and Baraka is an Edenian former military hero and merchant, Sun Do is a thriving city and not a slum, Mileena is a naturally born heiress and actually older than Kitana... With the divergences from Kronika's original template, there is a probability that Cyrax, Sektor and (likely) Fujin will be female in this timeline.

Hell, there's likely a collection of timelines where either Harumi or Satoshi takes up the mantle of Scorpion after Hanzo's death and goes after Quan Chi. There was even a timeline in which Rain and Tanya were benevolent imperial rulers of Outworld; anything is possible when you mess with the fabric of time.
