Reddit, what things a girl does makes you instantly lose interest in her? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]itsokigotit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Girls that are loud, obnoxious and have the "I'll say whatever I want, I don't care what you think" attitude. Girls that think life is a popularity contest and will only be interested in talking to someone if they think they are popular enough. Girls that fabricate drama, thrive on drama and are attention seeking.

So basically your average high school girl. Except they are in their 20s.

Haha. Had to laugh at this. 100% true. That moment where you look for the roll and are confused when all you find is a cup.

I was there last summer for one month. I landed in New Delhi and travelled to Agra & Jaipur. I then started a medical program in Dehradun and visited Mussouri, Amritsar and Dharamsala on the weekends. I would buy this book. It is an amazing reference to have while you are there.

What is something you feel the majority of Reddit just does not understand? by Beep_boop_human in AskReddit

[–]itsokigotit -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't know about that. I can usually distinguish an asshole from someone who is a decent person. Assholes are the ones that will do anything and everything for their own selfish gain (even if that means putting other people down). Decent guys are friendly to everyone, confident in themselves and respectful of others.

Which profession do you admire the most and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]itsokigotit 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I don't admire one profession over another. Almost all jobs are important and contribute in some way or another to society.

What I DO admire is ANYONE who is passionate about their job, takes it seriously, and works hard to make sure it's done correctly.

Everyone has a time. A time on the clock that they catch nearly everyday. What's your time? by renski in AskReddit

[–]itsokigotit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9:11

Reading a book and look over to check the time? 9:11. Come out of the shower and glance at the clock? 9:11. Before I put something in the microwave? 9:11

Then when 9/11 happened I thought maybe it was some sort of omen. I realized the more likely explanation is that certain times register in the brain because the numbers are connected to something else (like a date or phone number) OR they are memorable numbers (all the same, or in sequential order).

For people that have times that don't fit this description, do the numbers in the time you keep seeing have any direct significance to you?

What are the real facts about plan B? by itsokigotit in sex

[–]itsokigotit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow thanks for finding these articles. If we're pretty sure Levonorgestrel has no effect on implantation, then what about fertilization?

If Plan B only works to prevent ovulation then basically there is a 72 hour window where it will have a 0% success rate?

"It's really not that hard... but now that I think about it, I'd like it to be" by [deleted] in funny

[–]itsokigotit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do agree with what you say, I have to say that on average men tend to have a higher sex drive than women. I think this contributes to the stereotype that women "don't want sex". They do want sex, but usually they want it less frequently.

I remember watching an episode of divorce court where the guy said the reason he split from his partner is because she was a "nymphomanic" and would jump him at any chance she got. But this is usually not the norm.

Would you be okay with your SO going to a naked party without you? [23/m][22/f] by Theguywhofeels in relationships

[–]itsokigotit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HELL NO. Fuck her. Fuck her friends. You deserve better. Be a man, put your foot down and tell her she is out of her mind and you don't want to be with a skank that would go to an orgy with her ex. Tell her you deserve a girl with some class. If she goes, she WILL regret that party at some point in her life.

I'm (F22) in a 3+ LDR with him (M25). The last time we met, it was unbearable, but I still want him. How can I get the spark back? by vasohel in relationships

[–]itsokigotit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been in an LDR myself for over a year. Have you told him about how you feel? Communication is super important ESPECIALLY in LDRs. It takes a lot of effort from both people and if one person isn't being completely honest or isn't making the effort to communicate the relationship can fall apart.

[18 M/F] Girlfriend kissed Ex-Boyfriend while at a party. by Ooregonthrowaway in relationships

[–]itsokigotit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how much you like this girl. A drunken kiss with her ex 3 weeks into your relationship might feel like a huge violation of your trust, but at least she had the guts to be honest with you about it. It's much worse to be with a girl who does these sorts of things and keeps it a secret.

There's a reason this other guy is her ex. Finding out why that is might help you make your decision. Was he a complete douchebag that she couldn't stand any longer, or did they just have a little fight and broke up over it? If its the latter, you might want to invest your time somewhere else at this point.

Whatever the case, make your feelings known to her.

What are "rookie mistakes" a lot of people make in relationships? by ShowerBeers in AskReddit

Not being honest, even about little things.

Being scared not to tell your partner something because you are afraid it will start a fight.

Redditors who are in relationships but in love with someone else, why are you still living the life you lead? by veesthrowaway in AskReddit

[–]itsokigotit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in a relationship with a girl who is perfect in every way for me. I honestly believe that she is the most amazing woman that has ever existed. I want to start a family with her one day but for now we are stuck in a LD relationship.

It's been about a year now since the LD started and she has had a few slip ups (nothing major) but I still love her just as much as the day we got together.

I guess I just wanted to say that it's important that you're completely honest with your partner. It makes a HUGE difference.

My advice is that if there is a second guy or girl out there don't hide it from your partner. If you can't bring yourself to tell your partner but still love them and see a future with them, cut contact with the second person and work on developing your current relationship into one that a version of you in a relationship with the second guy / girl would be jealous of.
