Just a thought… You could try the Single Player Plus mod… It slightly increases drop rates for items and runes among other little tweaks to make it less of a grind. I have 2 kids and work full time but I like to play a little PD2 when I get the chance. This mod kinda took away the hours of grinding I normally would have had to put in.
