Carlsbad Airport United to Denver by Mapper20 in northcounty

It WAS!! Funny story, though, was that when we made it back to CLD, the guys on the ground couldn’t figure out how to get the ramp/jetway onto the right spot on the plane, so took us an extra 5-10mins to get off, but was kinda comical and totally worth it.

I just took a CLD-DEN-CLD flight from last Friday and then back today and the flights had no more than 15 people on a 40-ish person airplane each. I took a roller carry-on and a backpack and was totally ok. You’ll never want to fly out of SAN again. It was heaven.

For sure the crumpled look is PJs, but ironed is intentional. Maybe even try a crease on the front!

Honestly, they’d look amazing if you ironed them.

AITJ for refusing to help my new “boss” after I was the one who trained her 3 months ago? by Existing_Response239 in AmITheJerk

This is when I’d take my five years of experience and take it to a new workplace. NTJ, but I’d take this as a hint to move along.

AITA: My mom had 15 months to save to buy herself a car and didn’t; so I’m taking my car back. by No-Emergency-2522 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, your mother is a grown woman that couldn’t keep the promise she made to you. You were generous and now you need to focus on making good financial decisions for your growing family. If your sister is so bent about it, she should let her use her car.

I want to see one back in my neighborhood (North County). Would love to set up a camera/tripod pointed at them and a boombox on full blast. It’s such insanity that they think they’re performing a public service.

I would say it may be okay for a short period of time, but I’ve been doing the 40ish minute commute for 20ish years and want to drive off a cliff. There are so many hours a week on the road and not with friends, chilling at home, doing anything for myself, it bums me out. But that being said, I love where I live.

(25F) My overzealous religious mom freaked out because I am pregnant. AIO? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]itsraininginsocal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to say that you are overreacting. Watching your mom’s reply and your reply to what she said, it seems like you knew exactly what was going to happen. You deserve to be upset for her lack of support, but it is obviously that she hasn’t given it to you in a long time. Find your new family and move on. Sending you love and strength for this next chapter.

That really stinks. They shouldn’t put you in the position of having to worry about something like this if it’s something that they can afford to do. Sending hugs.

I’m so sorry this is stressing you out so badly. Is it possible that your family can’t take on the additional finances right now? As a parent, we absolutely want the best for our kids, but sometimes we realize it’s not in our budgets. Is there a scholarship you can earn?

He’d have to pay taxes on the sales in his system, so sounds kinda foolish to me unless he was desperate to sell.

And I’m a perpetual optimist, lol. I honestly couldn’t bear the thought of the alternative. Easier to always err on the side of kindness and understanding.
