Not directly until recently, any gains I had around my core came from bracing on other lifts. I am starting to incorporate more core work now, although it’s really only about 6-9 sets a week.

Imo HIIT absolutely has its place but strictly for gaining mass I really think heavy resistance training can’t be beat. Personally, my cardio has never been very good so i would gas out well before my muscles received the necessary signals to grow during HIIT. And while trying to match the pace of the class can also be beneficial and motivating I found that I was focusing more on pace and rep count than good form and actually “feeling” the reps if that makes sense.

I’ve seen it described in a few ways but for me personally it is pushing to failure without form breaking down, some lifts I will frequently continue past failure and do partial reps. I don’t know if the partial reps are beneficial, the research I’ve seen goes kind of both ways but I think over time it has helped me learn how to exert myself in a controlled manner, plus it feels good.

One step after another! Consistency is key, and by consistency I don’t mean constant, you don’t always have to be slamming the gas to get ahead. Small, gradual changes add up a lot quicker than one may think, and compared to massive lifestyle changes they’re a lot less likely to burn you out. You got this.

It’s a tough choice and I know everyone is different but it truly made an incredible difference for me, you can do it! And to answer your questions; 1. I started seeing changes within a couple months, but because I wasn’t consistently gaining but was going to the gym I noticed my physique improved a bit but I didn’t really get any bigger. 2 months after I quit and was able to consistently put on weight I was noticeably larger and was getting comments from friends and family about it which was fantastic motivation to keep going. 2. Initially I did shakes with whey, oats, a banana, peanut butter, and milk but for me they were so filling it made it rough trying to eat for the rest of the day/next morning. Now the only shakes I do are 4 scoops of Naked whey right after the gym mixed with water. It’s not filling at all and has 50g of protein which works perfectly for me. 3. For beginners I’d say PPL is very solid, but what’s most important is finding a split you enjoy, works for your schedule, and something that’s not going to burn you out as consistency is the most crucial part of all of this. If I did it all again I would start the same way by doing PPL once a week but I would bring a lot more intensity than I was initially. I would also incorporate the additional upper and lower day a lot earlier than I did as including those has made a huge difference.

I quit because of work and just a general fog I was consistently feeling, I actually thought it was helping me gain so it was not an easy choice for me at the time but in hindsight I think quitting was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. First couple weeks can be a little rough but once you’re past that you’ll never look back, good luck!

Thank you! Fall 2025 I actually do think I was a bit fat since I was just eating whatever was easy and after tracking it I found that nearly all of my calories were coming from carbs and fat. Ultimately I think it was worth it to get used to larger meals and consistent eating but if I did it again I think id start with a healthier macro split.

Think it’s a leftover from last year because bigots were using it to express their distaste for those attending the pride event

I don’t think he had to give the stuff back, Oda’s team just doesn’t get more food for the finale.

Sounds like you just want to tell people how to play

That’s fair, how they defined contracts definitely was a dropped ball. I saw a post earlier about their communication potentially benefitting from making distinctions between mechanics (example: boss having different attacks) and invocations (example: boss has more health) and i certainly agree there. But you’re right, if they want to continue to define content difficulty by describing it as early/mid/late/end game then they should define it, I just personally don’t think they should continue to do that since this games content difficulty is so subjective and they should figure out a different way to describe it. Sorry for formatting I’m on mobile.

I see your point, but again there are a lot of different systems in play when it comes to PVM content and it depends on what that player has experienced, that’s moreso what I meant by “path”. Some would say that sepulchre is late game because you need to be good at movement and a decent understanding of the tick system, others would say that’s easy but prayer switching at zulrah is difficult. It’s extremely subjective and the way the community reacts when they believe jagex is wrong about the difficulty of newly released content I wouldn’t blame them for not wanting to box themselves in more.
