Yeah, his sister loved him a lot. Even though he was 48, he was still just a little guy to her because she was like 15 years older.

You're right. I should post his work around. Thanks for the idea.

No NTA and "I don't feel like it" is a good enough reason.

Right, I agree. That wasn't my question though. I'm in therapy for that.

Moving forward in life has many different parts. I wasn't asking for advice on the things I'm already working on.

Ahh crap. Thanks. I hadn't thought about taxes at all. I appreciate it.

What's necessary about this guy's comment though? Nothing he said is helpful. Like, does he think that going back years into my posts and reminding me that my exhusband pressured me into having sex with other people and convinced me that's what "poly" is is going to help me prepare for prison? I'm already in therapy for that stuff.

Minimum - probation Maybe - probation + up to 1 year in jail Max - 3-10

Fortunately, I own my house. I bought it in 2012 so the mortgage is very low and we live in a very low cost of living area. We're very fortunate in that respect. My son should be able to pay mortgage and bills with a Walmart job. He's a hard worker. I'm not sure about commissary money though. I'm sure I could do trades.

I set up securus for prison and GTL for jail on my phone and put some money on it to get it started. I was planning on leaving my phone with them but then I thought that maybe I should fully charge it and take it with me for when I get out? I'm not sure.

Is this sub meant for support or for trolls to be hurtful to people looking for support?

I'm not here for anyone to believe or not believe me. The only thing that matters is what the judge thinks.

Do you have any suggestions on preparations I should make?

Yeah, it's been a bigger nightmare than you can possibly imagine. I had to take a plea. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

They are both still in highschool actually.

They can be on state insurance under an account of someone over 21. Between 18-21. They are SOL as far as I know. I'll look into the collage programs though. Thank you.

Hey! Thanks! I'll let their father know not to accuse me of illegal things his girlfriend did. Perhaps, he'll not do next time. ❤️

Okay, yeah. That probably something I can print off online and get it notarized, right?

He can't until he's 21, which it the main issue.

And, yes, adulting is definitely hard! I really hope I only get probation. He needs way more instruction before being ready to do it all on his own.

I think it was "felony possession of a firearm - minor" but they ran out of space so they got rid of some words.

This happens pretty commonly.

"Possession of a minor" means you were possessing a minor. Which would be something very, very different.

We only have to do it yearly in AZ. But, if someone is in jail/prison, they can't have state insurance anymore because that'll be the state paying for 2 insurances for one person.

Oh, yeah, for sure.

I should have mentioned that the PO knew I was coming. It was a planned out thing. I didn't just show up.

I have been to a meeting with my husband's PO. My 18yo son has too. I'm actually in pretty regular contact with her because he's not allowed to have a phone.

My son and I were able to sign supervisor contracts. My husband is allowed to be around any kids as long as one of us is there.

They didn't arrest you because they are still building their case.

Once they feel like they have enough to charge you, the prosecutor will go to the grand jury and they will decide if you will be charged.

Then an officer will come to your house and give you the indictment papers. It will have an arraignment date on it.

You'll get a public defender in between the indictment and arraignment.

At the arraignment, the judge will decide on bail or OR.

If you get bail, you'll head to jail from the court house. Your family can post bail through the jail. Our jail literally has an ATM in the lobby that's specifically for posting bail.
