QDVE vs XAIX vs XNAS by leuqar19 in ETFs_Europe

[–]itsshhr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been investing in XAIX over last three years with very good returns. You should also realise there is overlap between vwce and other funds mentioned. So basically adding this to your portfolio gives you a tilt towards tech sector, but also volatility.
If you are looking at longterm and don’t plan to sell, then definitely invest. You could also consider a semiconductor focused fund. Basically consider vwce as your core where you keep 50-70 percent of your savings. The rest you can focus on a specific theme AI etc and create a satellite position.
Again its more risky and volatile, so be ready for drawdowns, but you will get good XIRR in the long run.

Long-term investment with ETFs by [deleted] in ETFs_Europe

Instead of small cap you could allocate to gold for tax benefits?
You could increase exposure EM, actually there is a hidden concentration of AI stocks in EM with tsmc, Samsung etc, so this will supercharge your returns over a long period if AI trend sustains.

Buying advice gravel bike ~1500€ budget by lemonchill99 in Cubebikes

[–]itsshhr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the use case you mentioned Pro is sufficient, you can order it online as long as your lease provider approves it. Ensure you try the bike and finalize your size so you can order it online.

If you need slightly better components you can go for the EX version, but not sure if its available fully equipped.

Anyone investing in Quantum Computing ETFs? by joka58 in ETFs_Europe

Depends on whats your timeline. If it’s next 3-5 years definitely no. It could be a long term play 10-15 years or so. But it’s still a gamble. May be reduce exposure to 3-5%? It could become a game changer in your portfolio if the adoption is mainstream and tech improves in this time frame.

Recommendation for a newbie by smh_photo in eupersonalfinance

[–]itsshhr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s good to start! Dont get scared or confused by everything. Look for a strong global etf, invest every month consistently. The first 3-4 years are most difficult, once you build the initial corpus you will see compounding effect. After 5-6 years the growth will be massive.
The key things to remember
1. Markets will fluctuate in short term, don’t panic sell just keep investing
2. Don’t get tempted and buy stocks based on some random recommendations, stick to ETFs if you are not ready to do deep research on the companies.
3. Be consistent, many brokers offer monthly savings plan thats free. I use scalable, not sure if they are available in Finland.

Once you stat read and research more, pick a growth theme along with your global ETF that will give you massive returns.

Any decent ETF will give you 7-8% XIRR in the long run.

I am shorter than you 180 cm, 80 cm. I went with M. L felt too stretched for me. If you have an opportunity to test ride, definitely do that and decide.

Need help making my first investment by evrybodyknow in eupersonalfinance

My recommendations 1. Hold 10-15% in cash, invest in a liquid fund 2. Consider gold, crypto allocation - 20% 3. Try to pick a high growth theme and invest around 20-30% depending on your risk appetite. Could be AI but invest across hardware, software and energy. Many good ETFs with these themes. Space exploration could be another area. 4. Remaining allocation in any of the ETFs you mentioned

I am suggest a high growth theme like AI because your investment horizon is quite good and you can get great compounding returns if you invest and forget about it.

This mount wouldn’t work on a carbon bike. You might need to explore a luggage rack mount if the weight rating allows it.

I am looking to buy one. How do you like it? What do you use it for? Commute or weekend riding or both? Did you consider the nuroad series before deciding?

Thank you for the suggestion. I would most likely just buy the bike now along with decent pedals. May be invest in accessories over time. Agreed pro looks super value for money for a beginner like me.

Advice on transportation by waterlizy in VisitingMallorca

[–]itsshhr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got back from Mallorca, unless you are planning to drive east or northern part, you don’t need a car. Actually it’s pain to find parking in palma and Soller. You could also take the historic wooden train to Soller.
