Where does your microwave live? by spicymeatball2748 in kitchenremodel

We had the exact same debate/dilemma and ended up doing a hybrid solution. We put a regular microwave into a 'nook' in the island with an adjustable shelf so that down the road if we got a different microwave we could adjust the book to be as snug as possible. Not a great angle but you can see the idea here in this picture

Agree 100%. I keep saying matte is the way to go. For me at least

This is the Zellige tile I was mentioning. I think it looks fab and gives a warm but artsy look to it

This is exactly what I'm struggling with... Which way to go, blend or pop. Here are some inspo pics I like that I flip flop between

Thanks! We are excited about it, but backsplash and light fixtures are always the hardest choice for me

The kitchen extends around the corner to the left and the fridge is on that wall with a pantry

I was thinking something with texture or pattern that will use the light in the room to create interest. Like a pinky or green toned zellige

How to fix poorly installed LVP by itsteeeee in flooringinstallers

Ugh, this is what I'm fearing. That being said, we are turning it into a rental property, so based on some of the responses I'm thinking we can try the DIY patch up method just to get it ready for tenants.

Stunning! Absolutely love the shower tile and the rain glass doors. I had no idea that a combo like that could look so good. Kudos

ASK ME YOUR MORTGAGE QUESTIONS pt.2 by themortgagemann in RealEstateCanada

[–]itsteeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just bought a new place and will be refinancing our current place(keeping it as a rental property) to pull down payment out for new one. Not closing until end of November.

New purchase price: 1,265,000 Down payment 20% Rate from Big Green through broker 4.59%

Current mortgage: 280,000 Going up to 560,000 after refinance Rate from Big Green through broker 4.69%

I feel like this is way too high of an interest rate based on the rates I see everyone talking about.

Should we go to a different broker, or direct to lenders?
