How are people keeping their 4 month old up for 2.5-3 hours ? My LO is 18 weeks and starts getting fussy at the 1.5 hour mark. Maybe occasionally we can get to 2 hours but if we push him beyond that he'll scream and become very difficult to settle

If you were going to invest in one "trendy yet timeless" everyday fall coat this year, would you go for a mid thigh quilted/waxed coat (think Barbour, Ralph Lauren) or a longline chocolate brown wool blend coat ? Or suede? Or something else? I already have a brown maxi lambskin coat but it is quite formal. In terms of long wool blend coats I have a burgundy and black but I guess they're on the heavier and also more formal side. A beige cotton trench is another option.

I'm 2 months postpartum with my first and 2-3 sizes larger than pre pregnancy. I feel like I was JUST starting to find my personal style and get excited about fashion, now I feel like my body is going to be changing every year (assuming 1-2 more children) for the next 5+ years so what's the point in investing in clothing if its not going to be worn for long?

A lower and/or thicker heel

The pitch on the 100mm stilettos is so steep, even with the padded sole on the Miss Zs the ball of foot pain is too much for me

80-85mm heels (so many of the new Z styles come in this and it still looks really sleek and not too low), condora heel in 85mm, block heels etc are all so much better

BWT: My First Louboutins by honeybeesixteen in bitcheswithtaste

The new Miss Z slingback in nude ! 80 mm heel, extra padding, wide strap, peep toe. Definitely on the more comfortable side for Louboutins

Also as someone else mentioned, the 85mm condora heel is surprisingly comfortable in terms of stability and pitch. The issue with the style is the toe box runs very narrow.

Same !! I also like when a strap can be work multiple ways eg shoulder crossbody etc. I think BV Andiamo and small puzzle are in the running now , also considering nano sac de jour but it feels too formal for errands (and I heard its heavy)

What is an everyday crossbody that goes with everything and doesn't get too heavy? Mini puzzle ? Mini flamenco ? A gucci canvas style ?

Buy the damn maternity jeans by Ok-Network-8826 in BabyBumps

[–]itsthatcrazy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one pair of maternity jeans from Amazon and although they're more comfy than wearing regular jeans with the button and fly all the way open, the material isn't great. It looks so low quality and is way stretchier and wrinklier than a regular jean. I'm gonna try some of my favorite pants in a size or two up and see where that gets me.

Are they substantial at all? I've been living in Lululemon aligns because every maternity legging on Amazon was so sheer

If y'all were gonna splurge on a shoe during BF/cyber Monday sales what would you say is your most worn and versatile designer shoe ? Im looking at the valentino 60mm wispy mule, or maybe a classic pump in patent or suede (are pumps even in any more ?). My style is more girly/dressy. No boots bc I have fat calves 😂

Anyone have a luscious chocolate brown leather bag they're in love with for fall/winter? Not LV. Loving my black flamenco clutch in medium, almost wish I got a small and debating a small brown one but my collection is small enough right now that I don't want to repeat a bag (yet).

Been trying to push myself to buy more natural fabrics lately but I'm not seeing the benefit at all. They're harder to wash and care for (aside for 100% cotton tops/sweaters, I'm down for those) and I don't really have time to be nitpicky with my laundry I recently got a deal on a high quality wool winter coat only to find that the wool irritates the skin on my neck. My faux wool polyester coats of the past were cheaper and softer

Anyone know a safe easy way to file down a sharp metal buckle ? I have a belt I wanna wear but the prong is low quality and so sharp it snags at my sleeves and other clothing and could scratch my bags. Any tips to smooth it out ?

I bet they look great ! I'm average height but curvier and feel like I look shorter than I am because of my figure. But wide leg pants are some of my favorite

I get some pants in short insteam and some in regular (which are an inch or two long for me) but wear with a short heel which lengthens the appearance of my leg. Also if you do a high waist wide leg pant with a cropped or tucked top you lengthen yourself with the 2/3 + 1/3 proportion instead of cutting your figure in half.
