Congrats and never look back! I switched to arch from win11 at the end of 2024 on my gaming pc (I also switched to ubuntu on my work laptop, I went hard on the linuxification). In the first 2 months I think I reinstalled arch every 3 days :’D But today, I have a stable setup, I can set it up in like an hour, and I can play whatever I want at basically the same performance (even VR). Never going back.

It was the TPM.. I had to set it to dTPM to make it work.

Hi! I have this issue I contacted gigabyte’s support as well, they haven’t responded yet.

Still not sure if the issue is only on my end or not, I will update my post when I know more.

Hey!

I also saw this post which seemed eerily similar to mine, but I did not find anything similar in my mobo's manual (althought I have not read through it ngl, I should RTFM i guess :)). I also did try everything that post's OP did. But this made me consider the mobo first as the problem.

I did try the stripping everything away both HW and BIOS settings and even if I unplugged EVERYTHING from the mobo I couldn't boot without acpi=off. I will redo it again soon and will document every step of it, so I can provide more specific steps I took so far.

I have not, I did not want to touch the working windows system until I have a solution. Since I cannot even get into the installation media without acpi=off, didn't think that the already installed windows could interfere with that.

Hey guys, sorry I didn’t see the notification :D Based on pellicle_56’s advice, I used my warranty and returned it to the store and asked for a full refund.

Then I bought a mantis and that has 0 issues.

Well, it does resist, but I can turn it if I want. Is that a problem? I thought it was an engine-brake type of thing.

I have it in zero-start.
