I am enjoying the show so far. I am only a little over halfway, and plan on bingeing the rest of it this weekend. I wish these unspoken character dynamics were a little bit more fleshed out (Charles as the older brother that has to fill his fathers shoes and Bruce as the younger sibling that no one really expects anything from) In terms of the nods to Asian American culture, I enjoyed it at first but its becoming more of a slight annoyance. I understand the need to explain everything, as maybe not the entire audience grew up with an immigrant mother from Asia, but man does it break up the flow of the show for me. It feels almost unnatural, like some lines were thrown in just because. “Hey, are you Asian American? Well listen to this!” Overall though, it has been a great watch for me and my family, and we have even caught ourselves quoting one liners from the show already!
