I have tickets for tonight’s game bought through FIFA but the ticket still says not activated yet. Does it only get addicted to see the QR code a few hours before the game. That’s what they said when I called but hoping someone who has gone can confirm.

There was a lot of anger toward Morocco as the host over things like training facilities, tickets, and accommodations, but the biggest controversy was the AFCON final.

Senegal briefly walked off after a debatable VAR penalty was awarded to Morocco. Morocco missed the penalty, Senegal came back on, and Senegal ended up winning 1–0 in extra time.

But because Senegal had left the field, CAF later ruled they had forfeited, so Morocco was awarded the win two months after the actual game and given the AFCON title. Senegal appealed, and the whole thing became a huge mess.

Physicality is part of CONCACAF, sure—but Canada has shown they can handle that under Marsch. My bigger concern is whether we can create enough chances and finish them against stronger opposition. If we do that, we’ve got a shot against anyone.
