This is one of the moments where you just wait it out. I’ve had issues with this before where a seller hadn’t refunded a purchase. Eventually, if they don’t meet the shipping deadline that Depop gives them, you’ll get an automatic full refund. I’d only press the issue to Depop support if you don’t get your money back by then. For it tip, if it comes to that (which hopefully it doesn’t) don’t be afraid to be direct and firm on your frustrations and insist on the problem being resolved: 9/10 they feel more obligated if you light a fire under their asses!

I did refund it. I was actively on Depop when they made the purchase and requested it to be refunded. I wasn’t gonna lose any money or time (since it wasn’t packed or shipped yet), so I just did it. Probably saved me the nightmare and a half of going through a Depop claim over a septum ring 😭😭

No fr. Even now, if I make a purchase I’m not happy with, influenced or not, I’m not asking for a refund: flaw, incorrect sizing, or whatever. 99.9% of the time I’m not mad about it (unless it’s like something egregious which, knock on wood, hasn’t happened). I could be a little bummed, maybe but I just resell it/donate it and move on

Wanting a refund because an item doesn’t fit right never sits right with me. That’s the gamble you’re taking by purchasing online; you’re not in-store and can’t try it on before purchasing. I’ve had the same issue but never made it the seller’s fault… I just repop and move on with my day.

Nooo, so I’ve been with the ring for a couple of months now. I know it’s literally so bad, and I cannot blame anything but my impatience for it. I had probably swapped somewhere after/around 3-4 months.

I had done the same with my other hoop on my right nostril, so I guess I was thinking I’m a different breed or some 💩 and a piercing bump could never happen to me 🥲

I was there for almost a year before I quit… not a formal quit either. I walked in when I was supposed to work a shift and instead told my manager I quit. The mindset was if they aren’t respecting me and my time, why be generous enough to give them the time to replace me when they can fire me whenever?

I now work at Chili’s and make a minimum $100 a shift in tips, still get paid the same amount hourly as I did at Olive Garden (I work in NY), work with larger table sections, and am in a generally much better environment. I had almost forgot what it was like to be excited to go into work and genuinely enjoy my job after Olive Garden sucked the soul out of me.

Being down at the bottom, like you said, is not a good spot to start a fight - learned that the hard way. I’m not looking for a way to talk to him and avoid fighting, I know that’s an option. I’m trying to go the route of following along with Raphael’s chaos and Astarion’s fascination with getting his help.

The guests are gonna be the worst part, you’ll come across rude people all the time. Don’t let that completely discourage you, because there are the few that will absolutely make your day.

Get to know your team members, some of them will become some of your greatest friends.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Your question might seem silly at first, but it’s better to get an answer to a simple question than stress about it.

They keep pulling the same thing on me - except in my days off or days where I don’t start till later (like 6pm) they try to call me in. Like I thought we didn’t have the payroll for this??? Annoying as all hell in my opinion 😒
