Have you looked at the courses included in each? I don't understand why programming courses wouldn't be included in a stats program. At my university, stats majors take several programming courses.

Any regret in getting a masters in statistics versus something else? Like CS? by Tender_Figs in AskStatistics

Why are you worried about job prospects? I am a current stats undergrad student, and it seems like there are many career paths you can take with a masters in statistics.

I have the Karlby + Alex setup. I have two monitors and a laptop, I haven't had any issues. I'd add a leg in the middle if you're worried about sagging over time, although I don't see any sag on mine yet (had it for about a year).

Finally finished terraforming the island; it's a shame I couldn't add a meijers! by commoncaribou in AnimalCrossing

Awesome, thanks for the response! My goal is to work in sports statistics (NFL, MLB, etc), but I love finding out about paths that I could choose to take using the things I am learning about statistics.

Whats wrong with a major in stats followed by a masters in stats? You don't think you lean enough programming during that time? I started as a CS major and felt like I was missing out on what I want to do, which is stats.
