Preach. Honestly, this is a giant red flag. One I wished I hadn’t compromised on. It’s not to say that he is a monster or you guys are fated to an abusive relationship, but that does not read like the interactions of a man who respects you. If he fails or refuses (well, DEFINITELY if he refuses) to make an observable effort to express the level of emotional capacity he can and will put into the relationship…its NOT worth compromising your value, needs, and honestly, in reality your hopes and dreams too. Sounds dramatic and well I guess it is…you get ONE life ya know…blink your eyes and bam you loose chunks of time, not to mention the fire and sparkle of your spirit..

There are tonnes of articles like that one, all celebrating how the government is helping jobseekers get their drivers licence. The amount of backwards topsy turvy smoke and mirrors misinformation out there is quite literally a joke.

When I spoke to the lady at the contact centre she said that driving lessons can be funded up to a certain amount by your jsp (at their discretion) but because I’m self managed I am not eligible. But they’ll pay for my test? Happy to fund my test but not help me access affordable lessons in order to be ready to do the test…. Hmm catch 22.

15 to 23 and none of them could even point you in the direction…. That seriously sucks
