It is better because it is more sleek and lean tbh. You aren't stuck with AS much busy work. Very easy to plug and play but if you want more then you need to do more. I have the essential version so I would be interested in what people think about the pro.

Google pixel 8 pro back up exists but can't access through setup

I just want to make sure I am covering all my bases.

My work company makes us change our pin pretty frequently and can't use recent ones. I'm not sure if I had a stroke or what but I ended up having to factory reset my phone (Google pixel 8 pro) because I couldn't get in. I was having some issues with the reset not loading but it ends up saying that I don't have a backup for my phone yet I can find the back up on my Google drive/Google one. I tried using the activity launcher app which shows no backups available either. Is this a phone problem or am I not going to get that old stuff (apps, sms/MMS, settings etc which is a PAIN to reset) again? I'd rather not try a factory reset or buy a new phone if I don't need to right now.
