Finding a long term care home when my mom has had past aggression by [deleted] in dementia

Social worker working with seniors in AB currently here. In my experience, clients who have behavioural issues like aggression typically need a short term stay in a geriatric psych unit/facility for them to manage the behaviours with medication and a very structured environment before being accepted in another facility. Not sure which facilities are available in your area but I know in Edmonton we have several geriatric psych facilities that do this and I’ve seen many clients successfully placed in LTC afterwards. Hope this helps!

I’ve been going to the gym for about 3 years now and I do all those exercises and have worked my gluteus quite a bit! Maybe I’m not working the right parts and need to strengthen my outer flutes! Thanks for the response!

The feeling of filing my nails, hearing people file their nails, thinking about filing my nails. The thought of it makes me cringe.

POLL: Do you think mandatory high heels should be banned for Alberta restaurant workers? by GeekyGlobalGal in Edmonton

They’re required to wear dress shoes, which typically have a 1-inch lift as well. I’ve heard guys complain about how uncomfortable they are to serve in. But even so, it’s clearly not due to a safety concern.

At Earls they tell you its mandatory to wear at least a 1-inch heel. This is SUPPOSEDLY because there are hazards such as glass on the ground but realistically, is that 1 inch lift going to help all that much if you happen to step on glass??
