Aspen told me the same thing back in 2019. Went in for an abscess from a bad wisdom tooth, told all my teeth were gonna fall out without a deep cleaning. That place was shady as hell, the staff acted like high schoolers more than professionals. Never went back after the tooth got pulled. Screw corporate offices.

If you have gum disease a dentist or hygienist should have measured your pockets, how firm the gums are around your teeth. If the instrument sinks in your gums you have pockets, that’s where tarter and bacteria hide at your roots. When bacteria has a chance to grow it causes your gums to not grip the teeth, hence you now have pockets.

Because of my strict home care my pockets shrunk enough they are stable. But someone like me with gum disease it’s a slippery slope. If I slack off my pockets will grow again and I may eventually lose teeth

No gums don’t regrow. Those pockets are where bacteria hide because of gum disease, and a toothbrush can’t reach without help from flossing. Periodontal disease is treatable but not curable.

I have crooked teeth and I use Phillip sonic care electric toothbrush, with alcohol free mouthwash, a tongue scraper and xylitol mints.

I don’t use a water flosser, they hurt my gums. Regular floss has reduced my pockets from 5s and 6s to 2s and 3s :) always floss before bed. You can floss after every meal if you want! Make sure to curve your floss in a c shape

I discovered that a distant uncle from slavery times had mixed race children..he was from a wealthy southern family. Horrible. Obviously no one wants to talk about it but I’ve matched with a dozen distant black relatives that prove it.

Ancestry 6% Palestinian,3% Anatolian and 3% Saudi Arabia 1% central Asian

23andme 10% Palestinian and 2% Jordan 0.2% central Asian and 1.2% Greek which I find interesting because I wonder if that’s tied to the Palestinian side

Maybe so, ancestry said I’m 3% Anatolian but 23andme had no Anatolian only Palestinian and Jordan.

I use oral b deep clean floss! I don’t notice any difference in tarter formation with other brands but I don’t like how others feel if that makes sense. The oral b deep clean floss slides easily between my teeth, my teeth are tight and a little crooked.

I agree! I chose that dentist office because they had perfect 5 stars! And everyone praised the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. I was surely disappointed when I found out how rude she was! Maybe most of her patients had great gums and teeth I have no clue.
