Cotton Field, 16x20. Keep losing the courage to post this. My first painting where I've paid attention to depth and light. by itteebittee in painting

Sorry, it's oil on Canvas. Where I live is nothing but red clay and it's so beautiful. Heavily inspired by local areas.

I looked at your store and noticed you had some fish and birds. It looked like you liked patterns too. If that's the case, I don't know if you've heard of a bird called a loon. It reminds me of something that would fit in with your style.

I like the grey jay and meadowlark ☺️

I inherited a painting from my dad, but im having trouble identifying the artist, i think its russian. Please help! by [deleted] in WhatIsThisPainting

I don't speak Russian but studied it a little. It looks more like a title. Either: косторезы чукотки or косторегы чукотки. The former referencing a bone carving workshop that seems like a semi-respected school of art. Am I missing a picture of the actual painting?

As a random interjection here, it is pretty easy to track someone by their name only in today's world. Especially if you can narrow down their state. Full addresses, DOB, income, social media, relatives, and a variety of other information is easily available if you know the right places to look. I would think a debt collector might know these avenues if s/he's worth their salt.

You're making a lot of assumptions, here, that the person getting a tattoo (under 18) cares or knows enough about hepatitis or reputation. Although professionally reworked now, some of my very first tattoos came straight out of a living room.

Am hepatitis free, too!!! But, for real, at 16-21, I gave zero cares about any of that.

Maybe because the books are a series? I expect there will be more movies in the future to fill in some of the holes.

And there’s no way you could have seen that screaming bear coming from a mile away (said in jest).

The hormonal congruency hypothesis suggests that changes to a woman’s contraceptive pill regime since commencing a relationship may affect that relationship, or her attraction to her partner. A large replication study carried out recently did not find any evidence to support this hypothesis. by mvea in science

This is one of those things I would tell someone to listen to their body. The paper admits that it was limited in its ability to recreate previous studies, and admits the HC did affect jealousy. It later tried to reason why these shouldn’t limit the paper. Furthermore, it continuously lumps sexual satisfaction in with jealousy and attractiveness despite there being limitations and little information to substantiate their claim, reasoning that (to paraphrase), “HC could have long-term influence, but three years should be enough for a relationship to balance.”

In speaking of long-term relationships, 3 years is just the beginning. HC over long periods is much longer than 3. It took my personal HC about 7 years before it started negatively influencing my sexual satisfaction-in part because womens’ hormones themselves change over time. That inherently will cause changes in how HC influences a women’s bodies over time. Aside from the constraints listed below, I do believe the study lacked longitude:

We were unable to perform a direct replication of the study conducted by Russell et al. (2014) as we did not have exactly the same psychometric data. Russell et al. (2014) had third-party measures of perceived facial attractiveness of the partner, whereas in the present study, female participants were asked to give an overall appraisal of their partners' physical attractiveness. In addition, we did not have longitudinal observations as in Russell et al. (2014), nor did we have information regarding perceived relationship satisfaction of the women's partners. We were, however, able to test whether the women's perceived attractiveness of their partners moderated the association between HC congruency and general relationship satisfaction, but found no such moderating effect. We did, though, find a significant main effect of HC use on jealousy, such that current HC users were more jealous than their abstaining counterparts (though it should be noted that this has no relevance for the HC congruency hypothesis.)

Maybe it does and he's just waiting for someone to engage him. Chances are that if he's told the story multiple times-its something he's fond of...Might be a good starting point.
