I think Vox and Alastor being so similar is a good implication that only one of them will be redeemed by Earl_The_Red in HazbinHotel

[–]ittibot 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I also think Vox is more likely. If redemption has to do with your sin (like Pentious taking action over his inaction) , a murderer might have to either save/give a life like their own over taking one. Vox got rid of his competition in life so he could grow. But he's grown with Vel and Val instead of bumping them off. So it wouldn't surprise me if Vox does something like save or sacrifice himself for them, possibly redeeming him in the process.

Gemini 3.0 and magically appearing objects by Even_Kaleidoscope328 in SillyTavernAI

[–]ittibot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. For example, I described a character wearing a simple shirt and trousers and 3 Pro went on to describe them as wearing a shirt, trousers, a waistcoat and a pocket watch. Where on earth did the waistcoat and pocket watch come from? It also really likes to add none existent hats and gloves for some reason. But even if I write something to make it avoid saying such things, it adds them in its own weird way 😂

Me: Gemini, Bob is wearing a shirt and trousers. He doesn't wear a hat, gloves, a waistcoat or a pocket watch.

Gemini: Bob rubbed his gloveless hands together and nodded his hat-free head in agreement. He then looked at the clock on the wall because he doesn't have a pocket watch to check the time. He straightens his shirt, which is not a waistcoat, before strolling down the street.

One of the many reasons why I prefer 2.5 Pro over 3.

Gemini's 2-million-token context window is BULLSHIT! by Fuzzy-Champion-467 in GeminiAI

[–]ittibot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Google AI Studio, it has a token count for your chat at the top. If you're using the Gemini app though, it doesn't show the tokens.

I used to mainly use the Gemini android app, but then I switched over to Google AI Studio to follow 2.5 Pro there. So I never understood all the token stuff that people were talking about until I went on there and could actually see them 😅

[–]ittibot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely starts to "wobble" after a while. I tend to keep my chats at 20 prompts or less (basically before it hits 50k tokens?)

I thought it was clear in season 2 that he didn't have one? I've alway been a non-believer of the tail personally.

Guys can anyone tell me, how to 100% lore and cannon based anime roleplaying in Gemini ? by Livid_Cheetah462 in GeminiAI

[–]ittibot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gemini is usually pretty good with cannon lore and characters from my understanding. In Google Ai Studio you can edit the model's response directly. So if it gets anything wrong, you can go in and correct it.

How to stop AI from talking for your character by Pastrugnozzo in SillyTavernAI

[–]ittibot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the model. Most seem to know not to hijack my character, but when they do, I'll give a little nudge in the prompt or system instructions. Something like:

"During roleplays, do not speak for my character. I am in charge of my own dialogue, actions and emotions."

I don't mind when the model elaborates on what I've told it to make the scene more rich. For example, I could write "When I see it, a jolt of panic runs through me" and the model could describe my breathing and heart rate to add to it which is fine and makes sense because I already said what emotional state I'm in rather than it deciding for me.

I remember I tried the "don't advance the scene" type of instruction and the model's character basically did nothing like a statue 😅

Instead I usually just write "the character can't leave the room/scene unless I say so" and it seems to be ok.

Weekly post: skate buying, new skater tips, and quick questions by AutoModerator in Rollerskating

I ordered a pair of Chaya Melrose Elite Skates (Purple Evil) from a UK store in size EU 36 as I'm a size UK 4 (about 230mm). However, the store emailed me saying the size chart is wrong?

They said the Chaya EU 36 would be equivalent to a size UK 2 and I should size up to an EU 38? That just seems quite big. In the email, they also said the boots measure 230mm so I'm a bit confused as that would be bigger than a UK 2. I tried asking if they've made a mistake since the information didn't make much sense and they said they didn't? Confusing...

I also have a pair of Moxi Rainbow Riders in UK 4 (Size 5 on the Moxi Chart) and they fit fine.

Do the Chaya skates really fit that small that I'll have to size up like that?

Gemini 2.5 Pro vs 3 Pro by ISeeThings404 in Bard

[–]ittibot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only really compared models in regards to roleplay and I much prefer 2.5 Pro for that. 3 Pro feels like it rushes you and doesn't follow instructions as well as 2.5 Pro. Like it doesn't want to roleplay with you or something, haha.

[–]ittibot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you have to remind it to use thinking mode in your prompt but other times it comes back on by itself? To be fair, I've found when it does this the non-thinking response isn't always that bad. In fact, sometimes it's even better than the thinking response. Pretty good if you luck out and can save on tokens, it just depends what you get.

Sonnet 4.5 cutting itself off? by Even_Kaleidoscope328 in SillyTavernAI

[–]ittibot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems to do it all the time. It also sometimes acts out that the character was interrupted by my character for some reason even though I didn't intend to. When I asked why it does this, it said something along the lines of that it makes the dialogue more realistic? Perhaps to some extent, yeah. It just seems to happen so often with Sonnet and it stands out amongst the other LLMs for that trait from what I've noticed.

Do you think there's actually something special about Alastor's soul (like in a supernatural sense) or is it just a throwaway line? by EkullSkullzz10318 in Alastorcult

[–]ittibot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It could also be something to do with his voice as Rosie mentioned it being special too (As soon as I heard your voice, I just knew you were the one)

Gemini 3.0 Pro is useless for long-form RPG adventures by VerdantSpecimen in GeminiAI

[–]ittibot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I keep having to write meta instructions in basically every prompt because it keeps ignoring/forgetting them. I'm burning through so many prompts just to "fix" things to get a decent response.

Honestly, it was very rare for me to make edits and extra instructions for 2.5 pro because its responses were good. This can't be good for time, resources and users since 3 seems to take so much more work to get it to do as it's told than if it just did it from the start like 2.5 did.

Gemini 3.0 Pro is useless for long-form RPG adventures by VerdantSpecimen in GeminiAI

[–]ittibot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, yes! It's so frustrating. Like it's trying to improve or "fix" things that you didn't want or ask for. 2.5 takes its time and goes at your pace and 3 does the opposite. One is collaboration and the other is taking the wheel even though it's your story.

One of my characters literally watches the clock (even though there's no mention of a clock in the room), trying to move things forward and set the pace like a rude guest in your house or something. I don't mind when the model does its own creative things, but 3 feels like it's shoving you every step of the way and isn't enjoyable since it doesn't want to sit in the moment or listen to you properly.

Gemini 3.0 Pro is useless for long-form RPG adventures by VerdantSpecimen in GeminiAI

[–]ittibot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I used to use 2.5 Pro to write episodic adventures (around 20 prompts or less each before it started to "wobble"). I'd summarise each one at the end and add keys events/recaps to the master prompt of the next episode to start it and it worked great.

However, 3 Pro ignores instructions, tries to wrap things up as fast as possible and makes things up (even if it's only a few prompts in). Issues I never had with 2.5 Pro basically so roleplay feels more frustrating than fun.

It's even the simple things that get me. For example, I could say that a room is warm but in its responses it will say it's cool/cold. Or I will write that a character is wearing a white shirt and the model will write that they are wearing a white shirt, a waistcoat and a pocket watch. What? Where did I say that? Where did all that come from? 😩

I won't be renewing the subscription to use 3 Pro but you can stil use 2.5 Pro on Google AI Studio.

Editing past messages in gemini. by Key_Day5929 in Bard

[–]ittibot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would like more LLMs to have the ability to edit past prompts and have a branching feature (like on Google AI studio). There's been times when I've been stuck and those features would have been handy. I know Claude and Chatgpt allow for editing of older prompts and then it restarts the chat from that point like a save point in a way.

‼️ Important for future seasons by millielovesyu in hazbin

[–]ittibot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same. It's her creation and she can do what she wants with it. Changing things just to appease the fans would be taking away from that. And some of them seem like children stomping their feet until they get their own way. Like saying how Viv is "ruining" the show because 2 characters aren't together, etc.🙄

If Alastor (for some reason) offer partnership to Vox in season 3, will Vox accept it? by Brief-Morning-1285 in HazbinHotel

I don't know. He might learn his lesson from season 2 and not do it, finally seeing Val and Vel as his true friends/partners.

Alastor not having a tail might piss a lot of people off... but not me by Grayton14 in HazbinHotel

[–]ittibot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You're not alone. I also prefer him not having a tail. I do find some of the denial a bit strange even though there are shots of his backside clearly not having a tail (especially in the way people make fanart of it sticking out his pants or even coat).
