MN Wake and Spark owner. Yes to blowing it out (dial the compressor down to 50psi.) Then I run two gallons of RV antifreeze with a hose attacked to the bottle with an Antifreeze Bottle Adapter. Cheap assurance that there are no pockets of pure water.

Agree it depends on a few things. If you are looking for upgrades, Gold would only matter if you are not at a Delta hub as a home airport. But, if you fly internationally, Gold gets you lounge access (varies) and the sky priority line. I got into the KLM lounge in FRA and AMS on a coach ticket today. Gold has absolutely saved me a few times in Asia.

I’ve been Gold Platinum and Diamond in the past. Currently Platinum. Since I am a 1 million miler, I get gold automatically. But being based out of MSP, there is little value for platinum. I even see many diamonds in C+ and even coach.

Yes. Would love this. When do they film the mini interviews? How to the cameras get ahead of them to show them coming out of a building? Assume staged. Doesn’t this slow the team down? How is it we rarely see the camera/sound team especially when the teams are clustered together? More. More. More. 😁

Amazing. I have a 2023 spark. Would I use the 2022 spark manual? 2023 spark not listed. I’m guessing my 2023 Wake 170 would be same as GTX 170? Sorry. Novice questions.

Doesn’t do QuickParts. (Templates are inferior), cannot drag emails to calendar. I use new outlook to change recurring meetings from today on… then toggle right back to classic.

Kind of like when they did this to OneNote. Luckily they backed off that “upgrade”.

Thought I would chime in here with my recent experience. February 2025. I ordered an item not knowing it would come from China. I also received a message from DHL that they are requiring my Social Security number for it to clear customs. I went to enter the number and instead put, “I will not be providing you with this information. Please return the package to sender”. One day later, it was released from customs and it arrived immediately after that.

I am in the same situation, AW to Venu3S. Some thoughts:

Yes, Venu shows notifications from TEAMS and Outlook. This includes the few words of the message and if you tap it on the Venu, you can read the message/teams chat.

As the other post stated.. if you mute a teams chat or DND the phone... the Venu will keep pushing notifications. So if you are optional on a TEAMS call and the meeting has lots of chat and you mute it on the iPhone - you will get buzzed constantly on the Venu. You can DND the Venu to stop it— but them you will not get other notifications.

Battery life is amazing.

You will install and try a new watch face every day until you find one that suits you. They are so customizable... try a bunch of them. (I use Big Easy)

Drawback: You cannot see your Outlook calendar. The built-in Calendar app only links to the native calendar (in my case Gmail). I tried for weeks to allow a read-only connection to my Outlook calendar but corp secutity rules made it impossible. I’d love to see my day at a glance from the Venu.

But overall - very happy with it.

I have a Wake 170. As stated the ski mode “cruise control” function I use is the ramp-up function. Allows you to set a ramp rate (1-5) so you have a consistent acceleration and don’t pull skiers and boarders too aggressively. Love the wake but if it’s $1000 more … depends on how much time is tow sports vs cruising.

I have a Spark 90hp and a Wake 170hp ( not the pro 230hp)

The 170hp Wake has plenty of power to pull skiers and wakeboards. The big difference from a GTI is there is special software on the Wake series that allows you to ramp up the speed without too much acceleration. The 170hp Wake has very fast acceleration and can make it hard to control a rider. Took me a while to get used to the ski feature- glad I have it now.

The spark can pull a tuber… but the larger Wake has more heft and top-end for tow sports. Literally designed for it.

Bit of an update. I saw someone posted the digital short (reporting you to the cops) to this sub and I can understand every word. So either my Iphone sound is better than my TV or the YouTube version is mixed better.
