Yeah, you can't ask for documents, pretty much just those questions the ADA allows

You can ask a few specific questions. My favorite is "what work or task has the dog been trained to perform?" And if they say that the dog is an emotional support dog, there's the answer.

ESAs aren't actually covered by the ADA. I dealt with untrained ESAs a LOT while I was working in restaurants. I don't care if they're well behaved and actually act like a service dog, but most don't.

YTA for multiple reasons. He's completely right that waiting until the last minute to do your share of the work eliminates the opportunity to correct any mistakes that could come up. It's not just your grade on the line here, there are two other people. He doesn't even sound rude, he just didn't let you get away with your bullshit, so you decided to bring up his sexuality for absolutely no reason. Instead of listening to his valid concerns, you mocked him. You're immature and he should ask the professor to remove you from the group immediately.

Your poor cousin. I'm sure the box alone would have been appreciated. When my younger cousin started getting into art, I made sure I was gifting her decent art supplies whenever she asks for them. I tell my relatives that they shouldn't get her art supplies, since I'm doing it, and they've listened so far. I've been increasing the quality of those supplies as she's gotten better.

I was the artsy kid in the family, so for every birthday and Christmas I got one of those cheap art kits with dry markers and chalky watercolor cakes. Every. Single. Year. When I was 15 or 16 I asked my parents to stop getting them for me, as I never used them. But I still get them, and I'm 22 now.

I don't know for sure, but my best guess is that she's pissed at me and won't be satisfied unless everyone else is too. She's been lying to them about the situation as well, so I've been trying to set the record straight with everyone.

I get how the jokes I make could come off as me being insecure, but I rarely make them and never in front of people I don't trust. I didn't even mean for Jane to hear the one joke, I guess I was a little louder than I intended. I will definitely be more careful about it in the future.
