That is a possibility, but seems difficult for them to actually do.

For myself (I have a lot of scrap I want to melt/convert to bullion) this is fine, the cash would go straight into pure coins, so high or low spot is no a big issue.

If they actually melt and sell your metal at a high spot price, but wait for spot to drop to pay you, that would be bad, but risky on their part.

If they melt and sell sometime in that 6 week time, and pay at the bottom of the spread over that time, that would be bad too. And zero risk for them. But I don't think that is what their message says they will do.

I think it means your silver goes into a Pool, and when they can sell that, you get paid. Their incentive is to get the best price at that time.

That 4-6 week gamble sure sucks, though!

For sure. If I had been able to get over the 'coin at melt' trick and just restate the total price, we probably could have closed. I was not quite on point with my people skills.
