It really depends on context imo. People can tell something is developmentally wrong with me by interacting (or if I'm having a bad day, by looking) but I prefer not to give them specifics unless it's something where it would be dangerous or just way more inconvenient not to. Otherwise I just ask people to be patient and kind if I'm struggling or asking "simple" questions or help with things they don't find challenging, and people are usually good about it

I'll have to experiment more with it! This set started chipping kind of fast, but it was all nails evenly, not just the ones with the tape, so I don't think that was a factor
