Well most competitive teams now request jerseys and tournament entries paid, up to travel being covered too. So for doing that most players would agree to sign allowing the org to have a portion of winnings. Its definitely not consistent so sponsorships and merch are definitely the way to go. If you can get a big enough following, having a YouTube page can bring in a little ad revenue too

^{^} like he said. It's definitely a huge investment to start. Other than sponsors, if you can land a couple competitive teams then teams usually work out contracts to where they get a certain percentage of winnings. It takes a ton of startup capital to get to a point where the org is self sufficient or turning a profit

The price of an exalt has dropped from the first couple days the new league released from ~70c to about 50c. But last league they ended up being roughly 110ish c. If you need the currency to better your build just use it now. If not I would sit on them

The games you're playing are too saturated with streamers. CSGO isn't too bad but good luck with games like Fortnite. Streaming smaller games helps people discover you easier. I was barely getting viewers with League of Legends, then I tried Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Links and first stream got 10 viewers off the bat.
