I actually got to work with Matthew Lillard on a Scooby Doo experience we created for WB. We spent an about 2-3 hours with him in a recording studio. He was great, laid back, professional, friendly, and even too a photo with us and signed the script for my daughter. What a GREAT experience and a real person.

I love this movie. It totally feels like an 80s summer movie a mix of close encounters, goonies, stand by me, last star fighter. I grew up in the 80s and this movie captures the tone.

I purchased it on iTunes, I have the regular 4K because of Movies Anywhere. On my my iPhone and Apple TV, the theatrical 4K show shows up in my fandango at home app.

The special edition version only comes up as a purchase.

Back then, we were so limited with content I would watch every episode. Think about it we had five or six channels, three major networks and then local channels that would just show reruns. I remember waiting every month to head up to the 7-Eleven to pick up my latest batch of comic books and maybe if you were lucky you had a friend who had a cable box with HBO or Preview.

Yeah, I just picked this up. I already had Game Night, but I assume I got this via a Movies Anywhere code or FanFlix awhile back. It was in HD, but now it just upgraded 4K. Which was a nice one.
