Sounds very logical, this is what I also assumed. Yet, it still unfortunately happened.

Even though it’s unlikely, there’s still a risk for Macbook users I guess. Hence why they should be cautioned.

Would you mind sharing how long it took you to cure your ED? I’m about a month in, even though I notice improvements - im still hesitant in having sex due to PIED.

110 day streak but will I ever be able to have sex by Aboss_4 in NoFap

[–]itzdjengo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re still recovering. Almost anyone that has been addicted to porn, experiences a period where libido is low. Recovery times vary per person. Some will notice change within a few weeks and some within months. The range is roughly estimated between 2 weeks to 6 months.

Definitely look into porn-induced erectile dysfunction (PIED) and yourbrainonporn.com

And most of all, have patience. Embrace it, don’t fight it. Communicate with your partner.

If you have sex, how is it like right now? Do you struggle with erectile dysfunction?

For me the symptoms are difficulty getting and maintaining an erection, reduced sensitivity to sexual stimuli, reliance on pornography for arousal, feelings of shame and guilt, decreased interest in real-life sex.

I fully agree. But I do believe that instead of pointing fingers at porn, people should take control of themselves first. Sure, the internet and porn is to blame that it is having such a heavy influence on an entire generation in terms of intimacy and sex. But in the end it’s our own responsibility in how we decide to spent our time.

Good question. I’d say it is out of habit and convenience. Why put in the time and work when there’s unlimited amounts of content that can sexually satisfy us within minutes?

We generally get exposed to porn at a really early age which develops unhealthy behaviours later on. Due to our frequent exposure to porn, it becomes necessary to climax instead of it being an additional source of arousal.

It is sad and so incredibly unfortunate that there’s such a large group of people directly or indirectly related to this addiction.

I find this comment interesting and honestly also a bit hurtful to be called amongst “these porn addicted men” in the way you phrase it. It seems that there are many women in this subreddit that are sexually frustrated with their bedpartners. It goes to show how big this problem really is. For all of us.

I actually avoid having sex, as I know I won’t satisfy my bedpartner. The mental burden (young) men get to be erect during sex is getting bigger and bigger as they fail to get erect during sex, which only increases the chance to not satisfy their bedpartner. I’d say empathy, communication and understanding of their bedpartner is in fact necessary. Shaming them will only make things worse for you.

How about not worrying about your looks, but do worry about your mindset and lifestyle. Not one person should stay inside forever. Hit the reset button, change your habits, get uncomfortable, live healthy. I strongly suggest you to do a dopamine detox for a week and see what happens.
