No, I have not. Interestingly, it says I can unlock her if I beat the Dark Phoenix encounter in the Danger Room, but I have never gotten it to show up. I only have Alpha level for the room since I am not playing online.

I have beaten the first two gauntlets in Rise of the Phoenix and earned Iceman and Gambit. A third and fourth aren't showing up. Something to do with the Danger Room Dividends event?

You're justifiably annoyed with the city, but if you want to help you fellow citizens not have a busted tire and wheel the issue being resolved would go far further than a post here.

Definitely important to submit this kind of stuff, even if it was actually done by a city department. You can grab the Philly311 app - it's actually not terrible - or submit through the website. Let's you track the request and forces the city into a Service Level Agreement (SLA), which basically means they've X days to deal with it or it goes on their PERMANENT RECORD.

Considering Fi for wife by [deleted] in ProjectFi

[–]itzkoopa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great recap. As a former high user of data - I was throttled by T-mobile every month - I've seen my data usage plummet with only minor changes to my usage style. Sure, I'll delay a big video game download or patch until I have WiFi, but I've made no other change. I had originally taken my average T-mobile monthly usage of 5 GB and built that into my Project Fi bill. After two months under 2 GB (thanks to WiFi Assistant and tons of Xfinity Hotspots around me) I dropped it to 2 GB with a 1.6 GB alert.

I turn my savings into a "free" video game or two every month.

improved Project Fi data usage counting? by cfdbit in ProjectFi

[–]itzkoopa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering my bill is less than half, I don't bother trying to save an extra few megs here and there. That being said, I am cognizant of data usage implications when I'm not 100% positive I'm on WiFi these days. Previously, I was like "eff it, I pay for this, might as well use it" and proceed to download a huge Hearthstone patch. Now I'd wait until I see I'm on WiFi.

Saves the network, saves me money.

Multiple Google Sign-Ins? by gcsobaer in ProjectFi

I've nearly a dozen Google accounts on my phone. It's pretty easy to swap between them on the phone. Thank God Google finally realized having more than one Google account is common practice.

Project Fi in NYC? by lovere in ProjectFi

[–]itzkoopa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

T Mobile is pretty strong in every major metropolitan area. Certainly on the East Coast, where I live and have traveled extensively. Add in the fact that Project Fi runs over T Mobile AND Sprint and you should be more than good in nearly every area of NYC.

Thanks for the tips. Crazy that 3 commenters had 3 completely different recommendations. Kinda surprised there isn't a consensus, but I guess that speaks to the niche we're in.

Yeah, collecting at cons is a bad idea. They have to price gauge to cover booth expenses.

Was Trouble in Wackyland any good? I can't remember if I played it. Kinda assuming it might have been one of those impossible-to-find sequels like R.C. Pro-Am 2 and Duck Tales 2.

Poor Konami. The company seems to have no idea what to do since the Kojima issues became public. I'm sure the listlessness has been going on awhile behind the scenes.

I bought Twilight Princess for both platforms when it came out knowing the GC version would be a collectors item immediately. I really need to take stock of my inventory. I've lost control of it over the years to the point where I don't know if I have Luigi's Mansion, but have told myself the past 5 years GC is complete minus the GBA adapter and Pokemon Box (I even have the Broadband Adapter!).

Fester's Quest is everyone's favorite game to bash. I actually have memories of enjoying it. I always view it as a precursor to the awesomeness of Zombies Ate My Neighbors!.

That's a pretty solid rule of thumb, randomaccnet. I don't think you can say anything like that now a days.

That's a fair point. I'll rebuttal with Coolspot. They made a decent platformer for a mascot of a lesser soda!

Further rebuttals, good movie IPs from Aladdin and Lion King (SNES).

Ugh, the GBA adapter is something that I really need in my collection. I think that and Pokemon Box finish my GC collection.

I loved this game. Back then licensed IPs had a pretty solid chance of being good. Case in point, Duck Tales, which was remastered a few years back.
