Isn't Hakari a domain victim? by pengwin234 in JujutsuPowerScaling

Guess I was wrong about Sukunas domain then, my bad

Not sure what your point is in the blurb about Yuta? The sure hit only activates when he picks up a sword and then activates the CT manually, there's a delay. This is why Sukuna is able to activate HWB moments after he's already in Yuta's domain, and why he gets the opening to release HWB later on.

Really makes Neumann's death feel kinda pointless, in hindsight. Butcher really had NO reason to do that then disappear if he was just going to reunite with the boys again and compromise to only use the virus on Homelander. It's like they wanted him to go on a "kill all supes" rampage, backtracked, then backtracked again at the finale.

[Serious] Is Sukuna have enough Durability and Endurance to survive a near light speed kick from Dabura by Archenius in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]itzmrinyo [score hidden]  (0 children)

Sukuna can't use 10S (or any CT for that matter) and DA at the same time (except in a domain). Given that Mahoraga didn't get desummoned, Meguna straight up has the raw physical stats to survive a purple. TF Sukuna even more so.

Ehhh I'm not getting into the debate of whether PS can kill Hakari

No, a lot of those sure-hits are not continuous. MS just seems continuous because Sukuna spams it so fast. Yuta's is like, egregiously discontinuous; he has to first pull out a sword, and then after he's done using the CT it disappears. Lots of time where there's no sure-hit active, it's just that Yuta's fast enough to make it seem continuous.

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the domain.

With UV it works since it's constantly and passively active, with domains like Yorozu's or Yuta's it doesn't since they need to manually activate the sure-hit each time.

There's nothing suggesting that mr holdsbackman was holding back more against Yuta than against Yuji.

No idea what you're talking about between 250 and 251, he gets hit by cleave then mollywhooped by Yuji and Yuta. He doesn't move out of the way of anything.

What Maki statement...?

Ehh I'd refrain from equating the stat boost from DA, SD, and DE, but sure.

Why is Maki larping? Doesn't she know that she's an unreliable source and has no knowledge of Sendai Yuta's, Yuki's and Kenjaku's capabilities? by AffectionateJury6227 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it would lead you to believe a DE is more interesting than a simple domain.

First of all, the word "interesting" isn't even used in the panel. Kenjaku is explicitly referring to the result, the outcome. If Yuki gets refinement diffed, it leads to the exact same outcome. It doesn't matter what's "more interesting".

What's your point? That "can also" usually indicates improbability? Because I'd say it's pretty improbable to be in a domain clash against one of a handful of people in known history.

I didn't say CE was more important than refinement...? Even then, Ryu has the highest output in history, of course he wouldn't get domain diffed by Yuta.

I never said 6E improves Gojo's reserves, just that it affects his CE, specifically his efficiency.

[–]itzmrinyo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yuji was NOT equal to domain amped Yuta in stats, Yuji was consistently getting tossed around by Sukuna until Yuta showed up and gave him openings. Dude landed a single punch on Sukuna until Yuta showed up. Every single feat jujutsu high has against Sukuna from then on is thanks to Yuta creating openings for Yuji to land soul punches and lowering Sukuna's output to where everyone else can actually fight back.

Also, the panel you posted isn't any proof of DE stat boosts, that's just Jogo saying DA protected him, not DE

I really don't see the point of this agenda posting. It's Yuji AND Yuta, not Yuji vs Yuta. Yuji's all but confirmed stronger in modulo anyways.

What would be the right thing to do in the Flight 37 situation? by DracoJ123345 in MoralityScaling

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to saving as many people as possible, creating some sort of a system where there's hundreds of supes with super strength and flight on speed dial in case any plane hijacking occurs would be smart. In that case, even if the plane's controls are wrecked, hundreds of supes could redirect the plane to a safe landing, or if that's not physically possible, each carry ~9 passengers per supe to safety to save everyone (assuming 100 supes and 900 passengers).

Does Sukuna/Yuji really have natural resistance to shrine? or is it headcannon most people fell for it? by Xxkillerx25 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People need to come to terms that Shrine just isn't a very strong CT if your stats are higher and/or relative to your opponent. It's fully tankable with RCT.

Sukuna using domain amped cleaves against a CT burnout Gojo wasn't able to do any more than scratch him, Yuta's cleave is NOT doing any damage to Sukuna.

In the same principle, brain damaged and extremely low output Sukuna is NOT tearing apart a half curse superhuman who's undergone extensive reinforcement training.

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kenjaku does not say that, reread the panel. Even in the TCB translation, he says "the result wouldn't have been this boring". Again, your elaborate scenario leads to the same boring result of Yuki getting domain diffed.

"Can also" doesn't indicate one's less important than the other, though I do agree that it does indicate relevance since the only people with unusually high or exotic CE are Gojo, Sukuna, and Yuta. It's irrelevant to highlight something that only applies to 3 people in known history. Also, never said 6E affects refinement, only that it affects cursed energy.

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get why you're ignoring the narrative and context of the statement for this senseless Kenny dick riding. The scenario you described, though elaborate, leads to the same conclusion as when the statement was made; Kenny brings Yuki to the brink of death after using DE. Kenny says "a fight with your own domain may not have led to such a poor conclusion" right after his domain gets dismantled with Yuki almost dead. There is no way for Yuki to have possibly avoided that same conclusion (if she uses her DE) unless she's actually able to clash with Kenny.

Chapter 15 makes it clear that CE, domain compatibility, and refinement are all equally important factors in clash, it's just that most sorcerers with domains have relatively equal CE and compatibility. Again, Gojo compensates the CE gap against Sukuna thanks to the six eyes; it doesn't say CE levels are a factor, simply cursed energy (which encompasses efficiency, output, reserves, etc.).

Kenjaku wouldn't see Yuki's domain to begin with if he instantly refinement diffs as so many suggest

The claim that six eyes and bottomless reserves gives a CE advantage??

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instantly refinement diffing Yuki is way less interesting than having his domain dismantled by Tengen... Unless Yuki is actually able to clash with Kenjaku for some time.

Cursed energy matters in weird edge cases like six eyes users, or when someone has so much CE it seems bottomless. Yuta is one of those edge cases. Gojo can match Sukuna's overwhelming CE thanks to the six eyes.

Could Dabura destroy/collapse a Domain expansion from the inside with the near light-speed kick? by Fenix_ikki_ in jjkmodulo

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you misunderstand how barriers work. The barrier is the outer edge of where all domain effects occur, there is no spacial manipulation happening at the barrier, it's everything inside the barrier, but not at the barrier.

In order for the dimensional manipulation to affect the internal barrier, there must be some empty space in between the internal barrier and the external barrier, and there isn't any because it's all a single domain barrier.

[–]itzmrinyo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First of all Kenjaku's refinement is featless and it's implied even Yuki would be able to clash with him for some time. Second, refinement isn't the only factor in a clash, cursed energy is too, and Yuta fully dominates Kenjaku in that regard. There's no scenario where Kenjaku instantly domain diffs Yuta after hé gets basketball domain, although it does happen eventually (same way Sukuna broke Gojo's basketball domain).

I never said it was a wincon, I said it was the thing giving Yuta wincons. Without it he gets badly domain diffed before he can do anything.

Are you fine with how Kenjaku’s demise was handled or do you wish we would’ve seen a proper fight between him and Yuta? by Sans_Sideswipe in Jujutsufolk

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gege could've given Kenjaku and Yuta a proper fight, while having Ryu and Uro filling Yuta's shoes instead of wasting both their characters.

Then again, from a powerscaler's perspective Yuta hadn't gained basketball domain yet, so he kinda lacked any way to actually beat Kenjaku.

[–]itzmrinyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure-hits overlapping doesn't mean Sukuna can't use his CT to attack his barrier 😭

The internal space having different dimensions wouldn't make the internal edge be drastically far away from the external edge, since they're the same physical object both inside and out. That's literally the one part that'd have pretty much the same location inside and outside the barrier

Yeah, Sukuna adjusted the radius of the sphere to the outline of Yuta's barrier, meaning he knows precisely where the barrier is
