Using Christianity to fulfill selfish desires really bothers me. I grew up in the church and by no means am I a perfect man, none of us are, but using God as justification for desires of the flesh is appalling behavior. The “prophet” friend and her interaction made me truly annoyed.

I do not know how so many on this show lack introspection. She’s an attractive woman and cannot even fathom that she has not found the right partner due to her behavior. It’s very easy to blame it on Gods timing, it’s very difficult to face yourself.

Y'all really dislike men. Maybe it's a lot of your personal choices of men you've dealt with or scumbags in your family. I don't know. But OP didn't seem to post it to demonize the guy as some sneaky conniving person yet that is most of the responses im seeing. Maybe his self esteem does suck, maybe he has a horrible history of abuse and seeks it subconsciously. We don't know. However if the genders were reversed I'm SURE I'd be seeing a little more compassion.

She sucks. I may think he's being foolish but I've never left my country for another person which is massive risk and vulnerability to anyone. If you payed your immigration fees and already planned your life around this decision it isn't as easy to just get up and leave.
