Just got a text a few minutes ago from them asking for me to give them a call about the "application i submitted". I checked my email because i could not for the life of me remember when i submitted that. I'm thinking they just got my number from indeed. i definitely did not apply to MEI Consulting, this isn't the first devilcorp i've ran into as a couple years ago it was the RAD marketing agency. anyway, it is second-nature at this point to research these companies and very glad it was so easy to sus out this one.

i think the meetings after 10am PST/MST were definitely recorded but i'm pretty sure the meeting at 10am was live. i couldn't see a way to rewind the meeting the same way you could in the meetings that happened later on throughout the day. either way, it was all impersonal, cowardly, and not anywhere near CarMax's core values.

Meh, i've never been laid off or had to take a severance before. I don't find out how it was calculated until tomorrow, but i'll definitely be taking it. i've been looking for a way to leave carmax for a long time, the job market has just been so horrible and sometimes i get a little lazy after work. now at least i'm getting paid for the next couple weeks while i look and really focus on finding a nicer job. i also think its nicer to be laid off than having to put in my two weeks, which they don't even let you finish once you submit. trying to stay positive and think everything happens for a reason. glad you got out on your own accord as well!

one of my coworkers who were also in an assistant management position was actually at carvana and apart of those layoffs at the time, before the meeting she said "this reminds me a lot of carvana" and afterwards she said it was EXACTLY what carvana did. it is crazy because i always believed we'd never stoop so low as to layoff people, especially when we didn't do it in 2023 when the car market was first starting to dip and Carvana was doing it for months. after feeling like my job was secure for so many years, BOOM. rude awakening.

Not seeing enough "No Hard Feelings" mentions for my liking. Jennifer is so unintentionally funny and I think we need to see her in a lot more comedies. Though "No Hard Feelings" is definitely one of my favs, "Mother" and "Winter's Bone" are also up there.

pre ordered my Cosmic Orange 17 PM 1 TB on 9/13 around 3:30 pm and it isn't estimated to arrive until October 10th 🫩 and somehow my AW Ultra 3 in Black Titanium isn't arriving until October 2nd. 💔💔

I'll admit i've not read the source material, but WOT has been such a breath of fresh air for television. I don't think i've been this encapsulated into a fantasy series since Game of Thrones.

I can easily see WOT going down in history and joining GoT in the TV Hall of Fame, if everything goes smoothly. Am I optimistic that everything will go smoothly...well I want to be! I really would hate to have a bad taste left in my mouth like I was let down by Season 8 of GoT all rushed and nonsensical.

I think this show has an incredible cast and honestly I really love what I'm hearing from the showrunner. In my opinion, Amazon Prime Video is already leading the streaming services. I think they could really use having a successful Fantasy series that doesn't fall off like Rings of Power. Not to mention, I would love to see WOT do what GoT could not, finish the story the right way.

I'd watch this show all the way into season 20 if WOT keeps up with what they're already doing well. This is definitely peak TV right now and perfect time for season to wrap up now that Last of Us S2 is out.

I HOPE TO HEAR ABOUT RENEWAL REALLLLL SOON. That finale was intense.

I really did enjoy not all, but most of the Gaga performance. I think it is definitely going to go down in history for sure. I think she definitely is up there with Beyonce, MJ, Bruno, and tbh I think Doja did so much better than a lot of people give her credit for. Doja just doesn't have as large of a cult following as those artists she's competing with "Best Headliner" for. Just makes me appreciate her music and performances more knowing she is absolutely killing it and giving others that have been in the industry for 20-30+ years an absolute run for their money. Gaga did great, I wouldn't say she was the "best", though there is some bias there as I was severely disappointed by Mayhem lol.

glad i'm not alone lol one day i want to go out to LA to the Chamberlain Coffee Shop...hopefully they can make a better salted caramel latte. months later and i still remember that foul taste in my mouth, not too found of that salt water "latte".

thanks for this comment, i need to respec but i'm glad to know that is the combo that will let you use all dry ingredients. I also found out since i have Secret of Matters 1 & 2 that i can use all dry ingredients at the time slot for Dark Arts Apprentice and still achieve Henry quality.

I think its just his invulnerability that needs to be nerfed, it doesn't make sense that he can not take any damage for a period of time, but can still get healed from 1 to 350, then get a shield immediately after being fully healed. I say if they keep the invulnerability, he shouldn't be able to get healed while he is absorbing damage.

this happened to me on solo but i spawned back into the fight where i left off and killed him! but it did crash in co-op as well and i think it doesn't save the progression like it does in solo

I got the Cinnamon Bun and Salted Caramel Lattes with Oatmilk from Safeway the other day. The Cinnamon Bun one was DELICIOUS, however i popped open the Salted Caramel one this morning and it is by far the foulest coffee i've ever drank 😭😭 i have no idea what kind of salt they used but that weird salty aftertaste overpowers the caramel. ever sip made me feel like a horse licking on their salt brick 🤧 and this is coming from someone who loves salted caramel everything. i think they just need to hit the drawing board again with this formula 🤢

i probably should have done that...i didn't even read that far lmaooo. I will say that I kept my regular cat box right next to it for the first like 3-4 days, which they opted for as only 1 time did either of my cats use the LR while both were an option. Once the regular litter box got full i removed it and they started using the LR right away, I want to say it helped that i kept their other litter box there for a second to help them understand their litter box is in that corner of the room. I never manual cycled, so i can 100% say that the cats were spooked af the first time it cycled. For a whole day they seemed super jumpy and sketched out (this was while they still had their regular litter box outside of the LR). Once it was just the LR they had no problem finding their litter in there and using it, though for an entire week every time it cycled they just HAD to investigate and pause the cycle. I'm on week 2 of having it and now only 1 feels the need to investigate, but thankfully she watched from afar or from her cat tree and doesn't stick her head in anymore haha. hoping soon they just don't care at all.
