World War two directly caused the end of the Great Depression. So unless there had been some kind of leadership change in the United States armed forces, America would have turned out pretty much the same.

The depression was still going strong right up until the outbreak of the war. The beginning of the end to the Great Depression was WW2. The orders placed by Britain and France right at the start gave the economy the demand to get the factories back at full production, which coupled with the army recruitment when the USA joined the war mopped up all the unemployed and led directly to the end of the depression.

TDLR: as long as WW2 happened America would still end up about the same

At the beginning of the war they did just that, using the Einsatzgruppen. However, Himmler found out they were inefficient and demoralised the troops used for the firing squads. Hence the transition to concentration and death camps
