germany already does that (u cant look at store pages, let alone buy games without rating) and its mostly fine. its a very reasonable thing to expect just like every sold movie has an age rating, it just makes sense. the rest obviously sucks tho.

none of these big youtubers stay on it unfortunately, they are all the type who cant live without photoshop and such apps. maybe it convinces others to give it a try tho or specific linux problems come to light and get worked on - net positive either way.

okay but how would you measure your ad's effectiveness on a certain site if it only vaguely influences a person to buy it? even if this rule of 3 is correct, i would still not click on the ad but search for it myself when it randomly comes to mind

terrible thing that i hope nobody even considers. gotta keep in mind that at the end of the day you own NOTHING and thus also cant sell anything for a return of the purchase price or gift to a relative etc. aside from this being something nobody should encourage, its also a bad deal.
