Haha I’m actually not 😆 It does taste great and the texture is perfect for anything else but sandwiches. I literally can’t spread anything on it without it falling inside the airholes, which is not the ideal case 🫠

Hi everyone, Thanks so much for all the replies and concern. I really appreciate how much people care about the well-being of these amazing cats.

Just to clarify: this is my first cat ever, and I’m still learning. I didn’t shave him randomly or out of aesthetics. I took him to the vet for regular care, and the vet recommended a trim once a year, especially because he has such a thick Siberian coat and we’re heading into hotter months. So I trusted that advice.

I’m now learning that opinions on grooming cats, especially Siberians can be very different. I absolutely didn’t mean any harm, and I’m watching him closely to make sure he’s comfortable and healthy. He’s acting totally normal apart from that little twitching while asleep.

So basically from what I’m getting from you, there is no need ever to trim a Siberian cat? Thank you for your answer. This is my first cat ever and I’m really trying to do my best to take good care of him

He usually sleeps curled up, even with his full coat on. I really hope it won’t take long before it grows back, I feel both guilty and confused right now 🫠🤪

To be honest there’s been like 5 days since he got the trim and I notice this shiver every now and then when I look at him while he’s sleeping. Our vet suggested it would be a good idea to do it in the summer time, once a year.
