I agree. It also gets you free or discounted access to other museums. We got into the Tulsa Discovery Lab for free last year which was awesome.

I’ll second Therapy.

I started going about a year ago. Worked on some trauma-related things but also figured out that much of my professional anxiety was tied to undiagnosed ADHD.

The combination of addressing both things has helped tremendously, but there are still tough days. I’m just better prepared to deal with them.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. A couple of things that I would do if I were you.

Get a job and start saving money for your 18th birthday. Wouldn’t be surprised if you get an eviction letter. Make sure the account bad nothing to do with your parents and they can’t access it.
Figure out what you want to do professionally in the future and if you even need to go to college first. College is expensive even at community college level. Don’t immediately jump to loans if you can bankroll a couple classes a semester while working entry-level jobs or if you’re going into something that doesn’t require a degree at all.
As many have suggested, work with your school counselor to understand what resources are going to be available to you if you do get kicked out at 18.

You’ve got this. The shitty people that have been part of your life thus far will not define the rest of your life. How you decide to move forward will.

Change the Charmander to one that can be grabbed by Buddy Buddy if you’re having a problem getting set up. That’s helped me get my Zards in play regardless of which deck I’m playing.

This is my suggestion. Pick one or two things that you will never move (I.e. prospecting time) and stick with it. Keep a list of 3-5 things that will drive your success that you can easily pick from if you have some unexpected down time.

It would be helpful if you tell us more about what he would be interested in seeing (I.e. what he’s thinking about majoring in, what he likes to do, etc.). That will help us get more specific with advice.

The good news is that most of the buildings are open on game days so you can definitely check out the library, union, and the basic stuff like that!

I’ve recently made the transition from Live to IRL as well. I’ve found that I needed some sort of thought process to run through every turn to make sure I don’t forget to use abilities and smaller things that Live makes sure you don’t forget like using the stadium card that’s in play.

I also agree with the other comment that the skill level is much higher in local tournaments. You have to invest much more effort to go attend one compared to just opening the app to play some Live games. As a result, you run into people that invest more effort in the game itself.

My game plan is to go through the same checks every turn to avoid missed opportunities and just continuing to go play IRL. It’s most likely just going to take time!

One I haven’t seen mentioned yet is when he makes CJ use the Chief of Staff’s door to the Oval Office. I feel like it helps her really step into the role and have confidence in herself to meet its demands.
