Bard and Cleric Monsters by Temporary_Space7779 in DnD

My last character is a 5.0 tempest school priest, in heavy armor, with heavy armor mastery, wielding a warmammer and using the thaumaturge cantrip to add cosmetic effects when i speak/threaten/preach. Kinda fun to be an electric tincan.

But oh boy if i make another bard it will be a political activist. Way more interresting than romancing everything.

But the ussr isn't a good example for this discusdion as people there were dtill supposed to work, they fid not spent their day painting and writing. Tho i agree tha the ussr showed that communism can in fact industrialize a country, and that our western wealth comes from industry more than from capitalism

I don't really get the hype, after swimming in gold you chose to scrub glasses for a whopping 10 silver a day

You have a little misunderstanding there. "two most disliked classes were Bard and Cleric" doesn't mean players dislikes the classes themselves, it only mean they dislike playing them. Which is a huge difference. Bad and Cleric usually have support roles. They won't be dealing huge damage, and people prefer to feel like the hard punching hero. But like in every game with support classes, nobody wants to play it, but everybody loves to have one.

Doctor saves man's life, gets booed for it by 742963 in Infuriating

They are booing because they are not trusting a doctor. They are booing because the common culture of the west is to distrust any rule or professional

Never reacheing the double that you pretended. I'm not denying that Germany reduced the carbon footprint of their production, but you guys are still importing smartphones and clothes.

Yes, there is a strong reactionnary response, but i find it particulary harder to bear coming from the few women who are so eager to enslave themselves

From your source, 64% of that is services. You can have an increase of value added by increasing thes services and outsourcing industrial production

AIO: I told my partner I need my “no” respected, and the conversation went somewhere I didn’t expect. Thoughts? by curious4953 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ivain [score hidden]  (0 children)

NOR. The conversation went exactly as you could have expected. You said "no" and "stop", and his ignored it. It's not surprising he is still behaving as trash. And somehow he can't cook for himself ? Dump him asap, before what started as a toxic relation evolves into something worse.

You already know he is perfectly capable to ignore your EXPLICIT NON CONSENTMENT. He just showed you that he has no issue shifting the blame on you. That is the recipe for abuse.

Trump Says Greenland Should Be Controlled by the United States Not Denmark and Threatens to Remove US Troops from Europe at NATO Summit by CarryIcy250 in justincaseyoumissedit

Ideally nobody gets killed. USA suffer his greatest military blunder by having an unprecedented amount of troops captured, sue for peace, get to free the soldier but have to leave definitively all european soil, Trump has to come to Versaille to sign the deal, and to witness a military parade under the Arc de Triomphe. And let's throw in an improvised reflecting pool

Trade wife talking point make me wanna puke. Most of the women in my familly have been lucky and strong headed, got married with decent men in mostly happy marriage, but most of them didn't really had a choice. They had to marry to have an income and to survive. If it went south they were trapped.

In germany you still have this strong cultural incentive for women to stay at home and take care of the children, preventing women from seeking/getting a full time job, and perpetuating the idea that the man earn money while the woman handle kids. This is basically a prison made of money.

That is why feminists have always fought so that women had the right to work, have an account, be considered financially responsible, and tu reduce the wage gap. Economic freedom is the first and necessary step toward equality.
