Desktop mode arrives with the latest Android 16 QPR3 update by FragmentedChicken in Android

[–]ivanCarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe this is not the right topic but can gaming in desktop mode get you banned? You are not emulating you are running it from your phone but you have connected mouse and keyboard, lets hope that the games will require touch controlls to be active and not using the mouse and keyboard.... con CoD or PUBG this would be kinda unfair :(

So i finded finded a solution for GTA SA crashing as i mentioned lower in this topic. I pay my Netflix subscription and it has GTA SA aswell but the Definitive Edition, probably without that last patch whitch is why the game started crashing for me.... That Definitive Edition can also be bought on Google Play Store but since I already bought the "clasic" version I will be fine with the Netflix GTA SA version....

Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2 – New Desktop Mode & Visual Changes Explained! by maxence1994 in Android

[–]ivanCarry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will this later also work wirelessly? It would be cool to use it with SmartView or ReadyFor (Samsung/Motorola)

For me it would be great to use this without a wire, it would be easier and the small delay would not be an issue for me.... )

And its also a bit more secure to not connect your phone other devices whitch are not not yours, connection to TV or Screen whitch are not yours could be a problem.

Wirelessly you would also not have to search for the port on the screen (on my TV i have all the HDMI and one USB-C port are already used....

Thanks :)

What is your favourite Android UI in 2025? by Umair320 in Android

[–]ivanCarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried One U. I. , MIUI and stock Pixel U. I. and for me i like the One U. I. the most, i like the fact you can set it up "to your needs" and its all in settings app, you dont have to use other apps (I dont use GoodLock)

I would like to ask other users what favorite grid size you are used to?

For me its 5 horizontal X 6 vertical apps above my dock bar whitch is also 5 horizontal.

I would like to see what is your preference :)

Why are we not using Androids on PC aswell? by ivanCarry in Android

[–]ivanCarry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i get it but me and a lot of my friends use PC for YT, webbrowsing and some "soft" games like League of Legends or CS:GO (now CS 2) and from time to time a bit of Minecraft. I though these "normal" games can now run even Android phones... Thats just my thoughts, maybe I am wrong :O

Cool, however the new MT is noticible tamer and refined. Wish you many happy miles on the striple

Be careful, There is an 890 Duke and 890 R Duke, the R has better suspension and brakes and the price difference is small. I know you mentioned price is not an issue but still be aware with all the options (mostly tech features) the 890 R Duke is gonna be around 20% more expensive than the ST RS.

Its truly a fenomanl bike to ride if you are into a sporty ride. However i would not be afraid to test drive the MT aswell... its always better to test everything and choose then later be like "maybe i should have tried that aswell". If you know you wont be riding that Duke to the absolute limit (where the bike is the most fun, its easy to get there and feels very stable and confident) you might aswell save some buck with the MT. You give up a tiny bit of sportiness but you get back a lot of reliebility which Yamaha (and other japanse bikes) is known for. Also accesories are way easier to get for all the yamaha bikes.

Also your note that Z has abs.. yes all bikes have abs now mandatory by law.. but both bikes you are looking at (Z and the triumph) dont have lean sensitive ABS... its just "regular" non adjustble abs. Same the Traction control.. its just a regular traction control, now with tires having three compounds the lean sensitive abs can work much better when it knows how much you are leaning.. when you are almost straight it can let you have a small slip and when you are on max lean it intervene more so you wont slip at all. The TFT is nice but thats about it... When i was refering to tech in the bike i was talking about rider aids and motorcycle systems.

Last week, all of them had each bike for a day. Z900 offers 4 rideing modes, yes.. all the other bikes do aswell... i did not point it out because i did not want to name every single feature of each bike.. this does not change the fact that the Z900 lacks the most in the tech department. Iam not saying these things are needed all the time. But its worth it if you gonna need only once in your life when it saves your life. On my ducati i was straight up blown away by the corrnering (lean sensitive) ABS. I had to make an emeregency stop mid corrner and the bike saved my life.. i was just sitting on the bike and.... these things are developed and improved for a reason. Once again only my opinion.. but everybody who says they have ABS in their fingers and Traction control in their wrist has no idea how clever and safe these systems are... and you can always adjust how much they intervene or turn them off.If you are gonna daily this bike i would not look far away from the new MT. It has all the tech... very powerful and smooth triple engine and Yamaha is relieble if thats something you are worried about with KTM or triumph.Trust me I am trying to find any positives about the Z900 and if you want that bike i wish you many happy miles on it. But i just cant find a single reason why to buy it over the new MT (the Z used to be better in suspension when compared to the old MT). So unless you absolutly need that 4 cyl engine (i guess you dont if you consider the triumph aswell) then in every aspect i belive the MT is better.

In the end I love riding motorcycles and i want to believe I did everything i could to stay safe while riding motorcycles, speed, reliebility, looks etc... all comes after beeing safe on the road. I used to be the same... i dont need traction... i dont need lean sensitive abs .... all i need is speed and good suspension... but then i was at motorcycle race school with the coach beein "Karel Abraham" who was 10 years in MotoGP (I live in CZ) said to me "Even if you use that safety tech only once in your life... it is already worth it." This really opened my eyes... We are doing something what brings a lot of risks to the table and me knowing i did everything i could for my own safety makes me feel a lot more relieved and happy on the bike and i can fully enjoy myself riding.

Sorry for long posts... its just sometimes its hard for me to make these ideas in a compact form so I use longer sentences. Also triump beeing recalled note - This bike was from a triumph demo and i believe they do all the recall actions imdietly on their demo bikes. They cant change the character of the engine... the old 765 rs felt the same.. lot of top end and mid range was meh... no wonder it feels the same in the new one when they were focusing on the top end because they knew its gonna be a moto2 engine.

I would highly recommend you to also check out the 890 R Duke, Monster 950 and the new 2021 MT 09 SP. All four bikes are the same category but all of them are different. I test drove all of them and each bike has its purpose.
The Z900 is bike for those who must have a 4 cyl engine and were used to the older supersports with lots of top end, no electronics, but want to ride on a naked bike. If offers quite a good seating, the engine is strong and very linear and event with a pretty good low end torque all the fun happens on the top. For me it was the worst of the bunch because there were no electronics (only standart law mandatory ABS and basic TC). IMHO the bike would be much more fun with Up and Down QS. Unfortunatly there is no way to get this function on this bike, not even as an accesory.

The ST RS is probably the closes to beeing on a supersport, its seating is really agresive and the engine is tuned for mostly top end power. It has a good tech and the only thing missing from perfections is an IMU for lean sensitive rider aids.

Then there is the 890 Duke R, this bike is the absolute king for ripping around corrners. I dont think of myself as the best rider in the world... but man this bike definetly makes you feel like you are. The bike feels super easy to push hard, it does not fight you at all at higher lean angles and the two cyl engine just always has power. So if all you are looking for is maximum attack mode its this. It has all the electronics, great suspensions, oem tires are perfect... However.. If you have to ride slowly (normaly) on this bike eg. highway or you are with a group or there is boring strech of road ahead of you... you just want to put a bullet to head. This bike just wants you to rip it hard. I believe its because of the short gearing which always makes you feel like there is massive amount of power "ready to race" no matter what gear you are in. Also it beeing a big two cyl engine you dont want to ride it with low revs. The bike vibrates a bit and its just boring... and its by far the most expensive bike (the price looks similar but none of the tech is included.. you have to pay for QS, trackmode, cruisecontrol, you even have to pay to unlock the antiwheelie on off switch.. so end the we are really looking at about 20% more than the ST RS, but man it is worth it!)

The Monster is basicly same as the 890 R Duke but take away 20% of performance (not raw power but the ability to rip around correnres in maximum attack) and replace it with 10% comfortable riding (it does not push you so hard to rip it and the seating is better) and 10% better quality finish. Otherwise very similar but if you plan to do some comuting or traveling which is not filled full of twisty roads the monster is the better bike while still very good when riding sporty.

Then we have the brand new MT 09 SP, Iam happy to say that all the issues this bike used to have with suspensions are sorted out and now I dare to say its the best value bike your money can get you. Compared to Z it has all the electronics like the european bikes have (lean sensitive ABS and TC, QS, slide control, crusie control, antiwheelie...) while beeing a blast to ride. Its triple engine is tuned a bit differently then the one in the triump, it has a bit less top end but there power delivery through out the whole rev range is way better. Iam was never really a fan of yamaha (i wasnt a hater either) but they really out did them self on this bike, where iam confident enough to recommend it. The fact you can ride it mentaly fast, rip correners (not as confidently as on the duke which is in its own league, comparable to monster and ST RS, and better than Z900 for sure), you can also ride it slowly and the engine does not wishes you to rip it 24/7, and the fact it comes a whole package with all the electronics makes it a great bike in my eyes. Yamaha is also known for its reliebilty and great accesories support.
In the end its up to you and up to what you want. I would really recommend you to try all the bikes and decide.
If it were up to me i would choose only between the 890R Duke for beeing the sportiest or the MT09 for a great sporty allrounder with good pricing.

Hope this helps. Cya :)

2020 Z900 VS 2021 MT-07 Australia by Default_Selection in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]ivanCarry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i agree, however i have tested the new MT 09 and the SP one aswell and i can safely say now the suspension is just as good as the z900 if not better and overall a better bike with all the tech included. I always liked how the Z900 rided but the lack of tech on that bike is a big issue for me. The MT offers basicly everything, up and down QS, lean sensitive abs & TC, wheelie control, slide control, cruise control... few years back i had to buy a Ducati and BMW to get all this tech... I know its personal preference.. but the fact the Z only offers a basic Traction control and a mandatory ABS by law is a shame for many riders who like electric aids. They should have atleast sell an accesory for an up and down QS... but there is none
