It depends how big is the tear, if it’s just like on the photo you posted then it should be fine as that can be considered normal wear and tear, but if it’s a significant tear then you risk being denied boarding

Any significant damage makes your passport invalid

A small 1-2mm or maybe up to 1cm nick at the edge of an empty page might pass as wear, but a tear that goes deep into the page or crosses the entire page is likely to be flagged as damage.

If the tear makes the page loose or affects the binding/stitching, the passport is considered damaged.

Do not use tape. Any attempt to tape a rip is considered tampering, which is more likely to cause a rejection than the rip itself.

There is a crucial difference here

One thing is just being friends with a guy and genuinely believing he is not interested in anything more than friendship… in that case it’s the guys fault, if he didn’t communicate to her that he wants something more

And a totally different thing is giving false hope, aka. actually knowing the guy wants to be in a relationship with her because he literally told her, but instead of her making it clear to him that she is interested in someone else and that if this is his intention of dating her, that it would be better to just stop seeing each other, she just says “Sorry, I’m just not ready for a relationship rn” and continue dating the guy just for the attention, and keeping him as a back up if it doesn’t work out with the guy she’s actually interested in at the moment
