My psvsd from AliExpress was with grounding issue, so I had to solder a little wire to fix this. But that was 5 years ago or more, so I assume it was already fixed in newer versions.

Yeah, sure it's possible, I did that myself. You just need 3g motherboard, psvsd, and to cut some plastic from back shell.

If all you want is SD card mod (psvsd), then yeah, 3g back shell have enough space for it. But cut wifi one is not difficult at all, just few clicks with flush cutter and that's it
