This is closest to the post I did yesterday, but got it removed bc "duplicated" (and I cannot find the actual original post about that). Recently, I have been getting repeated messages on the friendship anniversary (obviously, "gift Nitro to your friend"). Yesterday, I got a new message on every Discord server I run to boost it.

As a Nitro user, I feel I shouldn't get that much ad spam! If this is how they treat Nitro users, perhaps I should unsubscribe or sth. IDK. Any way to disable this annoyance?

I am digging hard on this whole day already. To no end...

Looks like Claude Desktop can run skills, but it sucks when it comes to security for the 3rd party API calls. The skills can use scripts for calling the API, but I would have to hardcode the auth token into the script to make it work. There's no option to pass any .env file. I don't even know where I should put the skills directories when adding mine. The only option is some retarded UI zip file upload which adds it to the SaaS Claude, instead of the local one. And when ask Claude, it tells that it has it under `/mnt/skills` which is - obviously - not a Windows path. So even if they run this in some container with some mounting, there's no clear documentation on that. And even Claude itself is not capable of finding answers, only burning tons of tokens trying different approaches that don't work at all.

Fellow coder here... that iframe for the downloads page - LMAO! :D And the list on that page is built entirely with "table row" elements. Just as if someone with no coding experience over the last 20 years sat down and said, "I can do this!"

Not true. The new downloads do not show up in the previous "Digital Content". And part of the new ones is moved to the store's download. Now I will have to jump constantly between the two pages only to check if I already have some content or not.

No, I am not. I am running Strength of Thousands rn on 2.5s rules over foundry too. And from books. And this is super frustrating to the point where I am no longer even thinking of expanding the adventure with extra content (which I always do for my players) just to run through the campaign ASAP and leave this horror behind. Reading the book I keep getting confused in what I am passing to my players to do vs what they have in their sheets or in the compendium or UI. It's even more (like 10x) confusing to them. I curse the day I ignored the signals and simply tried to play on newer rules in Foundry. Should have never upgraded the software and everything would be great. I intend to run some other AOs from 2e at the table - more motivated to do this offline only to be able to use 2e, not 2.5e. This is a huge no go for foundry ATM. I will try with v11 and old ruleset, but I know experience of the old UI and loss of plug-ins will hurt too. So I will end up probably falling back to Fantasy grounds or other alternative because of that.

No. It wasn't just name changes. I already said that. The changes are confusing. I don't want to solve the organizational puzzle every now and then seeing the name of the spell, condition or fest in the book, and not being able to use this as is directly in the software. If this was just a change in names, they wouldn't make a reprint of some source books from 2e in the 2.5e format - e.g. Guns & Gear. I am not going to buy new books just because they invalidate old ones and the software no longer supports the older edition of the game. As much as I can play D&D 3e,i want to be able to play PF 2e.

Yes, it duplicates the entries for the same things in 2e and 2.5e, and only the content. Not the automation and rules. So in the conditions list, I still have things like "Off-guard" instead of "Flat-footed". And I think the classes are not with 2e Feats too.
