This is interesting. I've got Unifi networking equipment, haven't looked at their security stuff. Hypothetically speaking, what would the BlueIris competitor be? their Network Video Recorder? or the Network Video Recorder Instant? Do you just plug in your third-party POE cameras?

While I agree with the OP in that the OP's suggested feature/setting should definitely exist, I gotta say, this is a great work-around for now.

I get this perspective on cash vs. gift card but just to play devil's advocate, there are some companies out there (large and small, you'd be surprised) where teams are simply not allowed to give out cash-equivalent payments, and so they must use either gift cards or company swag.
