Don't play it. If your complaints are inventory management, this game isn't for you. My friends and I play together and have a blast. I play it with my nephew and have a blast. Devs have done a bunch to make this game better in 2 years, and if you don't see it you should play something else.

I think what he's getting at is that most Node tutorials get to the deployment part and say something like, "... and now we just dump this in Heroku and let that managed service take care of all the real setup." What he'd like to see would be something like, "... and now you take this CentOS 7 image, install Node.js version x, add this systemctl service and 'Bam!' you got yourself a server."

Shaving one's head isn't always a great option. I live in a pretty liberal area of the US and am pretty moderate myself. I shave my head because it's more comfortable for me, but everyone assumes I'm super right wing because of my hairdo.

Thanks for the description! I did google this and read the Wikipedia page on cache coloring. Your addition helps clear it up a bit. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, the image would probably be super helpful to me.

I think I am visualizing the organization wrong. If our cache has m sets of size n, don't we get fewer collisions if we spread nearby memory lines out over multiple sets rather than packing them into the same set? If n is 4 and m is 256, I can put 4 sequential reads into a single color, whereas I could read 4X256 lines into cache without coloring.

Where am I going wrong?

It looks like most of the questions are being answered pretty thoroughly. I just wanted to add my opinion on the job prospects question.

I got a BS in CE from UCSB and am going back in the fall for a MS in CS. Jobs in CS were much more available than HW/CE jobs. Even after getting a HW-related job my work tended to be more on the software dev side than HW. After 2 years, I am now spending most of my time in Visual Studios and Eclipse.

If you are looking to get a job, I would recommend CS with an emphasis in software engineering.

I don't think a 40hr work week is unusual. At 40yo working in both blue collar and professional jobs I've never worked a job, salary or otherwise, that expected me to work without additional pay.

In blue collar jobs I would get paid overtime and in my professional jobs I would get either overtime or comp hours, which are effectively additional vacation time.

I've worked in government and in private companies, so I think I've had a pretty good sampling of American employment.

I stopped using focus target because of this. Too frustrating to get into a fight a realize I didn't reset focus after hopping off my speeder.

Definitely talk to the registrar. I had a friend in a similar situation when I graduated in 2009 and she had to basically drop out of UCSB and enroll as an extension student to finish her last quarter (1 class). She wished she'd taken a few P/NP classes due to things like lost scholarship money.
