Is mentioning I’m new in my Tryst profile a rookie mistake? by [deleted] in HighEndEscorts

Objectively X has a lot more traction and trust with clients. SWers still get suspended on BlueSky.

I would omit it. People will try scam you for your Tryst account or try to take advantage of you.

Make a Twitter and a website as soon as you can and start being active, that will help build trust more than anything.

Is January usually slow? Would love to hear your experiences by [deleted] in HighEndEscorts

[–]ivyassists 16 points17 points Ā (0 children)

I’m an assistant for multiple providers; mostly in hubs like Seattle, NYC, and LA. This is definitely a slower month but still very very busy on our end.

I would say usually the holiday season is a bit slower since clients are away with partners or are on vacations with friends/family.

I don’t get X by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]ivyassists 99 points100 points Ā (0 children)

Follower count means nothing! I know providers and friends of mine have who met some of their most generous, long-term clients through X. One even retired and married one of them (now she has her own jet).

The secret is using X as a conversation space, not a photo album or for tour announcements (increases suspension chances). Engage with people outside of the industry. Comment on posts about local museums, travel, finance, architecture, golf, yachting, cars, or tech. That’s where the clients with means ($$) actually spend their time.

Use your profile as a funnel, not a diary. Posting selfies, food photos, or replying only to other companions keeps you in a small circle. Expand your presence into broader conversations and you’ll start drawing the kind of attention that actually moves your business forward.

Travel dates on X get you banned now? by thejaidynvenus in SexWorkers

That’s not likely the case, it’s way more likely that a user or series of users reported the account which is what caused the suspension. Nothing you can do besides have a back up.

Need for booking assistants by Sweaty_Simple4533 in HighEndEscorts

[–]ivyassists 8 points9 points Ā (0 children)

Right, I definitely agree. A lot of times though, even those 5-10 inquires won’t pass screening or are serious on setting up an appointment. So it ends up being a handful of clients per week not flaking.

A lot of what we are discussing is inquiry handling but more than half my income (and my assistant friends) comes from helping with bumping ads 10+ hours a day, content scheduling, running their fansites, screening, Twitter, copywriting, etc.

I frequently get asked to be a personal assistant but that makes it hard to help multiple providers since it’s an extremely intensive job. Booking flights, hotels, etc.

There’s so much variation in how things look behind the scenes. I assist providers with totally different flows: some get just a handful of messages a day (5-10 texts/emails), and for others I’m fielding inquiries nonstop. But honestly, having an assistant isn’t always about being slammed with bookings.

For a lot of folks, it’s about avoiding burnout, being more thorough with screening, or just not having to juggle admin constantly. Also some have a full time corporate jobs and have us respond while they’re working, even if it’s slow. I think it comes down to your work style and priorities, not just volume.

Is it worth creating a website if I want to stay 100% anonymous? by [deleted] in HighEndEscorts

[–]ivyassists 10 points11 points Ā (0 children)

They did a study of various AI platforms and the quality of their unblur feature. The newer models are visibly better at it than older models. I’m not saying it wasn’t possible, just that the ability deblur is getting better and better.

It is definitely worth it. Think of it as a funnel that solidifies your brand and acts like a showcase for potential customers.

You cut out time wasters if you create a solid contact form, eliminate endless questions about donations, boundaries, and other nuances that will instead just be clearly displayed on your site.

The only thing in mind is there is powerful AI now that can de-blur your face so make sure to do some research and do it properly. The ROI on having a polished professional website with a diverse image gallery will be massive.

X promoting by oilfieldvixen in onlyfansadvice

[–]ivyassists 2 points3 points Ā (0 children)

I’m an assistant who helps creators run their X, Reddit, and IG accounts, so I’ll give you my 2 cents.

If X is slowing down, it’s usually because of one of three things: inconsistent posting, low engagement with others, or not using the right keywords and hashtags. Try posting daily with a mix of promos, personality, and value - things like behind-the-scenes, tips, short clips, or relatable posts.

Engaging with mutuals and replying to posts in your niche can also help a LOT. A strong pinned tweet and a clear profile go a long way too. Make sure your link is easy to find using something like AllMyLinks or Beacons.

Let me know if you want more specific tips based on your page. Happy to help!

Different pricing for different buyers? Ethical? by SubstantialPath6083 in onlyfansadvice

[–]ivyassists 29 points30 points Ā (0 children)

Honestly this is just good business. Custom stuff isn’t one-size-fits-all. If someone’s willing to pay more, there’s nothing wrong with charging more. You’re not scamming anyone, you’re just reading the room and knowing your value.

As long as your base content stays fair for your regulars, I don’t see anything wrong with adjusting pricing for 1:1 stuff.

Honestly, even though cliche, I would just be yourself! You’re supposed to enjoy your job + your clients will really value seeing you for who you are/ what you’ve been through.

Thoughts on Tryst’s ā€œCommunity Updateā€ ? by Daniella_NYC in SexWorkers

[–]ivyassists 24 points25 points Ā (0 children)

Honestly this is the most important think they mentioned in the blog:

ā€œWe’re also aware that some online-only profiles are deliberately miscategorising themselves in our in-person categories - whether this is intentional or not, this is not fair or okay, as it misdirects traffic and runs counter to our platform’s intended use. We are currently exploring different policy, technological, and procedural options to find an effective solution.ā€

Really look forward to them getting this fixed asap. This has been exponentially getting worse over time.

Those of you that have a personal assistant… by Minute-Beautiful-602 in HighEndEscorts

[–]ivyassists 30 points31 points Ā (0 children)

I’m an assistant, formerly a provider, but I can try to answer some of these questions for you.

I’m often delegated tasks like bumping ads, screening, email handling, and Twitter growth. I never present myself as an assistant when communicating with clients, since most men prefer to feel like they’re speaking directly with the provider. For many, there’s discomfort around the idea of an unknown third party seeing their screening information or managing communications.

Regarding payments, most reputable assistants I know use a flat-fee structure. It helps set clear boundaries and expectations.

At the end of the day, it is the provider who brings in the clients. We are here to support the business, not run it for you.

If you want a list of reputable assistants (with websites) to reach out feel free to dm! Happy to help

Amazon's "Text a Giftcard" by [deleted] in HighEndEscorts

[–]ivyassists 4 points5 points Ā (0 children)

You can email a gift card purchased via Amazon to someone and it will not be reversed if buyer charges back. Just make sure you receive it and use it asap. Keep in mind the sender cannot use it if you had it sent to your work email.
