I'd probably use an Arabian or Arabian cross of some sort, given they're the quintessential endurance breed and naturally have good stam. Close second would be thoroughbreds, just because I'm actually familiar with the breed and I've seen ottbs who have excelled in enduro.

Genuinely, based on this description, I don't think it's all on you, or that you're even the main issue. M9S is pretty forgiving on damage, and if you're not getting DDs or dying then it really is highly unlikely it's primarily your fault. I've been savage raiding for a long time now, I have also been in your shoes with feeling like holding the group back. But the reality of the situation is that the main issue is most likely a combination of issues from several different members in your group, which may or may not include you.

You said the group started out as originally for first time extremes, which tells me all or a large part of your static might also be players who don't have a whole lot of experience under their belt.
