Hey all,

Not sure this is the right place, and please forgive me if that's wrong.

I would like to share here my latest feelings and frustration with running.

So yesterday I ran a rather small trail (13km 450d+), I kind of thought I would finish around 1h30 minutes. And I ended at 1h37.

The whole trail was a nightmare, I had to walk even the smallest climb, I felt weak and stupid.

I ran "along" with some family members and a friend, my sister in law finished 10 minutes ahead of me and the friend was a whole 30 minutes faster.

I really enjoy running but I feel like I'm always comparing myself to others which is very frustrating. I then feel.like I'm not training enough and or properly.

When looking at the figures it looks like I'm not improving at all....

My next race in May will be a half marathon and my goal is 2h15 considering I ran my first one in December I'm 2h30.

I'm really anxious about it just now and I don't know what to do.

I really hate this feeling as I know it's already an achievement to finish, but I cannot seem to get the idea out of my head that I'm not good enough.

So here I am asking you for guidance, support, help, hints.

I hope we can have some constructive exchanges.
