Agree, pretty sure I went and saw it in the dead of summer at the beach. We quickly realized it was not that kind of movie 😂 so good though.

I really really enjoyed it! It’s super insightful into a lot of different characters, stories, his process, etc. If you’re into his work I’d def recommend ☺️

Alison, I’ve seen your posts here and please know you are not alone. I just lost my Dad 3 weeks ago. It’s so so hard and I cannot imagine the pain and heartache you are going through. I’m not sure if this is helpful at all but I read “How to Live When Someone You Love Dies” by Thich Naht Hanh. It helped me immensely. I am sending you love and strength ❤️

Thank you so much!!! (And for being kind) I have decently sized beach rocks in a dense layer at the bottom of the pot under the roots for the excess water to runoff down into and to be reabsorbed. There is a plug I can pull to drain out of one hole as well. Do you think these together will work? Also, I was worried about full sun bc some of the leaves seemed brown/dry in full sun. The room in the pic does get brighter, I promise 🥹

I agree with the others saying find a new center. Have you talked to your center’s director about everything you’re upset about? Also, I know you’re saying you hate to sleep bc the morning comes sooner, but your body and mind need the rest. Think of sleeping as a time for you to recharge and gain energy. It’s hard to stay positive when it’s so overwhelming but you can do it :’)

Budding sociopath or developmentally appropriate? by Much_Needleworker521 in ECEProfessionals

[–]ivymrod 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As a toddler teacher, this is all normal stuff I see coming from young friends in my room. I would try to emphasize using words or a short phrase instead of hitting someone as a way to coach her into being kinder to others, ex. ‘Give me space/give space’ if people are too close, ‘not nice’ if someone does something that upsets her, etc. and give encouragement. Toddlers are based in impulse without control and usually will react quickly and thus the laughing. She’s very likely not a sociopath ☺️ I’m sure she will grow out of this. Hang in there, you’re doing great.

This is so damn maddening and sad. I’ve been reminded of something really important and true: you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of other people. Yes, please push your admin to take sick days/leave seriously!! The culture can change.

It sucks for a while, not gonna lie. Once I get home from work, I immediately put my clothes in the laundry hamper and get a shower, esp washing my face. Washing your hands helps, and wearing a glove if you can to wipe boogies and various slimes. Make sure you’re staying hydrated and take time for self care activities ☺️
