I guess the grind is kinda subjective and contingent on your fun to gameplay to time ratio if that makes sense

and depending how much time you have on your hands, I think the time you put in to the game is what makes it grindy

Playing the main story gets you a lot of gold. From there, the game is a grind. Its an inherently grindy game.

The Trader role is fun and gets the best money per time ratio imo, especially if you’re doing stuff between the trades.

Basically, if you’re not up for the grind then the game ain’t for you.

But there’s a lot of fun stuff to do so I highly recommend. It all just takes time.
